Hi solar tiger. Is there perhaps a way of: either connecting the funny acting solar panal, the 1 that was a 100watt, now a 20watt panal with a solar charge controller to the 100amp battery for more power. Or under clocking the cpu a bit to ensure that the battery doesn't get discharged that low again. Either that or add an additional 50 watt solar somehow in series with the others (so there can be 3 50watt panals in series)? 😅
Hi. It was a bit of an experiment, but shows I would need more solar panels and probably another battery. What I will do most likely is to run it on my main system in the house. The 3 big panels on the shed roof are connected to my main system, 3 x 100w panels connected to 3x 12v 100Ah batteries through Victron 20A MPPT solar charge controller. The shed system is meant to run a pump to water the garden, provide some music whilst in the garden and small things like that, a few hours at most on the weekends. it was not intended to run anything 24/7. The main system (in my bedroom) runs led lights, a low power crypto miner (30w), usb chargers, battery chargers for various things eg cordless drill, ipad, tablet pc, rechargeable batteries, aquarium light, mobile phone charger, it used all the time everyday. hence more money spent on it. The crypto miners are low powered in terms of computing power so need to run at max speed to maximise income. This solar stuff is a learning curve, you experiment and see how it goes and then learn from the results. You buy stuff, some things work out and some don't, from this I gain experience and I share this with others on RUclips. Thanks for watching. Solartiger Ps Might do another crypto mining video, with what i've learned while trying to mine on a low budget.
@@The_Solartiger your welcome sir. It be sad to see that deep cycle battery in shed to go before its time. But atleast I have better context of why u ran the crypto minor the way u did in the shed. I'm so looking forward to reach that stage of using excess pv solar or pv solar to mine cryptocurrency the way u do.
