OMG I THOUGHT OUR SCHOOL WAS THE OBLY ONE WHO CALLED IT A TOASTER, I thought it was just a weird metaphor that our teacher found useful for teaching begining guard and it just stuck. I didn't know people actually called it that I feel so enlightened.
SpintronixGuard you are amazing. Next year I get to join my high school color gaurd even though I will be in middle school. I'm watching Soo many gaurd videos so I can be the best I can be
Well! We have a really great college near us! Lol! Missouri State University - West Plains! It is 30 minutes from our rehearsal space! I think there are a few independent guards in the Kansas City area as well!
ABSOLUTELY AGREE with you on your last point about showing color and it being one of the purposes a color guard member serves.
Thanks for the tutorial on how not to catch a sail. This has helped me with flagging in church as well.

What weights do you use in your flag?
Carriage bolts like you would get at your local hardware store. 4" in the top and 2" in the bottom.
Thankyou!
Now I just need a team... the only bad thing about graduating 😩🙈♥️
Where are you located? We can find a team for you!!
Kansas lol
Are you planning on a certain college?
Not a certain one just yet but definitely planning on going to one
