As a screenshotter, 3 second scenes consist of multiple 0.1 second long pictures that make it look like animation 😶 took me a month and a half to make a 38 second video that was partly just black screen and text, my motivation was on and off (one of the reasons why it took me a month and a half, along with school) but since it was gl2 i had to animate like every body part with each screen shot so it would look smooth. I did reuse some animated parts since it had repeated parts (i used choice as the song) but still :3

Yeah, tweening is only really good for clips under 30 seconds. Also, people don't understand how long screenshots takes. I made a three minute video but it took me twenty hours because of adjustments, poses, backgrounds, and green screens, along with making 4 new characters and a whole new outfit for 2 of them.

As a screenshotter, it really depends on how detailed you want the movement of your characters to be. Personally, I try make mine semi-realistic, which takes quite a while (even for a short video). Thanks for acknowledging the effort of both though!!
As a gacha animater WE WOULD TAKE FOR HOURS WHEN I ANIMATE MY ANIMATION IS LIKE SO BAD AND THE GACHA HANDS WOULD LITTERY FLY AWAY. ALSO I ANIMATE IN CAPCUT

Well I actually I am more a screenshooter than an animator, because for me the animations are more difficult than the screenshots (except if the video are more than 1 min and have a lot of different scenes) and I actually make some “realistic” movements to make it more fluid. In my opinion animation is more easy because when you are: Screen shotting(or whatever it's called): •making really realistic moves •When you accidentally move your haracter somewhere else •etc Animation: •Hard to learn but when you understand it's very easy •I think that when you use animation you have better quality (not sure) •etc So that's my opinion (who no one asked)❤ Also for starters I recommend tutorials or friends who know animation they might help☝️🤓

It's not quite like that, we use green screen, we put effects, we take hours, we put details THAT NOBODY WILL NOTICE, and many other things. But I respect gacha animators A LOT, because it's really harder than editing gacha only with captured screens. I'm just explaining that it's quite difficult to edit with captured screens too.
I'm a screenshotter and i don't mind clearing my storage and i don't wanna abuse my oc❤and yes i'm one of those advanced screenshotters that use more screenshots in gacha club
I feel like the hardest part of tweening is making the model. Especially if you have alot of accessories like my oc it took me about an hour to make my OCS rig 😭

Happens to me, tweening took up my photo album, but now gacha life 2 has no default poses, I really animate the poses then screenshot.
