A Minecraft Movie is an upcoming American adventure film based on the 2011 video game Minecraft by Mojang Studios. The film is directed by Jared Hess, written by Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer, and stars Jason Momoa and Jack Black alongside Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge. Legendary Pictures, Mojang, and Vertigo Entertainment co-produced the film, which will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
