You can use a mic with cloud gaming but there are a couple of tricks to it! If you're using a bluetooth headset, make sure it's connected you your device before launching cloud gaming or if your using a wired headset, make sure it's plugged into the device, rather than the controller. Playing games on the Xbox app for PC may require switching out of Windows S mode. Windows S mode may affect the ability to play Xbox Game Pass Cloud Gaming, as S mode is a more locked-down version of Windows that only allows apps from the Microsoft Store and requires a Microsoft Edge browser for internet browsing.
And a Game Pass Ultimate subscription! But correct - you don't need to be in close proximity to your console, cloud gaming streams games from the cloud rather than from your console 😊
A couple of things you could check: 1. Do you have a Gamepass Ultimate subscription and are you signed into the app with the account? 2. Cloud gaming is currently only available in selected regions. You can find the full list here: www.xbox.com/en-US/regions#xboxgamepass

A downloaded game can have a higher resolution and frame rate, depending on the title. And you are at the mercy of your internet connection. And that's about it :)
Cloud gaming requires a controller to be connected - so if you're looking for PC controlls, you're still going to need to install the game at this stage 😊

Thank you! I bought the PC game pass because i did not see the Ultimate plan. I am a little dissappointed that i have to download all the games, because the ones i want to play need a lot of storage. For now i downloaded Ori and the Will Of The Wisps and Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga and i plan downloading JW Evolution 2 and DEATHLOOP. I previosly owned Ultimate for 2 months 1 year ago, and i thought they were almost the same. Thank you SO MUCH for answering me❤
Yeah, Xbox cloud gaming is part of the Game Pass Ultimate service. So even if you own a digital version of the game you still need the subscription to use cloud gaming.

At what stage are you having the sign in issues? I've been using single sign on with my Micorsoft account on my Windows 11 PC & the Xbox app and I haven't had any sign in issues so far!

A fun fact about Xbox Game Pass is that it’s considered a gift that keeps on giving, providing excellent value for subscribers with a wide range of games covering nearly every genre.
Have you tried turning it off and on again......? But a more serious answer to your question, this might depend on your interenet connection or the game you are playing - perhaps try with a wired connection to see if that makes a difference? I've found in my house it works great with WiFi, but the experience is pretty much flawless with a wired connection! When you think about it, your internet is doing a lot of internetting to make cloud gaming work!
I can think of 3 reasons why this might be the case... 1. Cloud gaming requires an Xbox Ultimate subscription. 2. Cloud gaming is currently only available in some regions, you can see a list of where here: www.xbox.com/en-US/regions or 3. Are you meaning on the mobile app? Because if so, an easy mistake! On mobile there is an Xbox app AND an Xbox GamePass app (we're not sure why, we don't make the rules!), and you will find Cloud Gaming in the Xbox Gamepass app. Hope this helps 😊

At what stage are you having the sign in issues? I've been using single sign on with my Micorsoft account on my Windows 11 PC & the Xbox app and I haven't had any sign in issues so far!

Have you tried turning it off and on again......? But a more serious answer to your question, this might depend on your interenet connection or the game you are playing - perhaps try with a wired connection to see if that makes a difference? I've found in my house it works great with WiFi, but the experience is pretty much flawless with a wired connection! When you think about it, your internet is doing a lot of internetting to make cloud gaming work!

I can think of 3 reasons why this might be the case... 1. Cloud gaming requires an Xbox Ultimate subscription. 2. Cloud gaming is currently only available in some regions, you can see a list of where here: www.xbox.com/en-US/regions or 3. Are you meaning on the mobile app? Because if so, an easy mistake! On mobile there is an Xbox app AND an Xbox GamePass app (we're not sure why, we don't make the rules!), and you will find Cloud Gaming in the Xbox Gamepass app. Hope this helps 😊

Have you set up a Pin on a Windows Device or for your Microsoft Account in general? That might be why it is asking.
