it's called having priorities
It looks really cool and all but I’m just not sure what the point is. After all when you get done the car is going to be so nose heavy that it will have horrendous understeer making it pretty much useless going around a racetrack. And it would not even be much good for drag racing because even with those super sticky tires you have on there the rear wheels are just going to start spinning as soon as you hit the gas. In other words, you will not be able to get very much of that power to road right off the line.

I don’t think you know how long I’ve been waiting to hear this. Can’t find a 12-1 anywhere. It should be truly like an f1. Double the exhaust pulses of an equal length 6-1 setup hitting your ear holes at the same time should sound like something revving twice as high as stock 👌❤️❤️❤️
Check out the Driftworks channel he’s building a e46 m3 with a s85 v10 with 10-1 headers, so something similar

It's crazy to see just how large these V12s were when you get them out of an F1 car. They look small when hidden away inside the cars, but it looks MASSIVE when you jam it into a Miata, given a Miata will do that to a lot of engines. They're like the Piper Perris of tuners.

When this is done I want to see it race the quad-rotor RX7...
Rx7 would win, the limo engine only put out 279hp 245-ish to wheels, has torque but it's built to push around a armor plated limo, built for durability and nothing else, it's pretty much 2 - 2JZ engines combined at the crank.
GRAND HIT it could be tuned. There’s someone running a 1GZ V12 in an S14 drift car that makes 700hp. Main issue is the cams, as he’s already got the headers. Once that is sorted, it can make a lot of power and rev high.
It’s not a 2JZ bolted to the crank, otherwise it’ll be a 6.0L not a 5.0L
And i was thinking my v10 swapped r32 in a game is crazy, thats so epic my dude! Gl on the project

You’re probably gonna want to create an aluminium heat shield to go over all the belts and pulleys, and probably gold sheet it for extra effect too, or all the heat from the manifold could make the belt snap, or the bearings in the tensioner pulley die an early death.
You'll be surprised at how far its from the belts and pulleys. If it is a problem I'll use your ideas 👌

Yep. You have my attention, as well. Long time Toyota 3S-GTE owner/builder (ST-205 WRC and SW20T) and 1UZ-FE owner (UCF-20 x2) with decades of experience with all the great Toyota/Yamaha engines (4A-GE, 7M-GTE, 1/2JZ-GTE, 2ZZ-GE etc). But never the V12 engines aside from watching TSS vids.

Definitely. The best part about the 1UZ-FE is you just drop it in and leave alone for 95% of builds. It makes a solid 250-290hp, depending on the year of the donor, and up to 310ft.lbs and it’ll make those numbers with ridiculous refinement for decades and decades. Just, ALWAYS replace the starter with a genuine Toyota unit while you have the engine out. It’s good for over 200k miles worth of starts but it’s a MF to replace in-car. I’ve done it before on a few customer’s cars but I hope never to have to do it again 🤣
Where is the starter located on the V12? If it’s in the V, it’s going to be the same thing. Luckily Toyota overbuilt the hell out of that starter so they last 2-3x longer than your standard type.

@@ThatV12MiataBruh heck yeah. I live in an aparment complex so i cant work on my cars, but next year when ive moved and have a driveway i want to put a 3sgte in my 77 corolla. Luckily a family friend let me store the car on their huge property out in the sticks for now.

I haven’t heard a v12 into one exhaust. I have heard a sports exhaust on a jaguar v12 and a quad pipe on an e type that sounded awesome like an F1.

Cristopher Reeves 220ish pounds isn’t going todo much , you could easily corner balance it and possible add some weight .
Depending what class your racing in scca for example , you would need to add weight to Miatas any ways, so it’s not really a issue and people have figured out in the 30 years the car has been race.

The less known Japanese Limo engine, those parts are not cheap or easy to come by, plus engine puts out very low HP but it sounds great with ITB.

I was wanting to do some crazy build with this engine, a few turbos, and convert my car from front engine, front wheel drive to mid-engine, rear wheel drive. Wanted to basically turn my Celica 7th gen into an overpowered MR2. That's just a dream though.

im SO recreating this in automation
that engine is nowhere near an F1 engine. It's basically two 2JZ supra engines mated at the crank and it does comes off the most luxurious car money couldn't buy in japan because Toyota only sold those new to very select people, which makes it even more interesting. IF you wanted one from the factory, toyota had to choose you and find you worthy of the car.
It's still a beast of an engine, it just need a lot of work to get the beast out because these are made for smooth, comfy ride with endless torque and zero noise, but Smokey Nagata chose those engines to put in the Super Secret Supra for a reason.
Port the heads, ITB on the intake and work the exhaust and you have a massive, screaming beast.
