Tita has a huge point that not many who compete can ʻōlelo. I was shocked to find this throughout our travels on the bodyboarding circuit. Not sure why I was shocked or why I expected to see more haumāna ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, but there werenʻt many outside of my son.
