Wow you cover a lot of great Extreme Metal bands from my era. One of the greatest from the gothenburg scene. I will say their guitar tone sounds very different than I recall from when I saw them back in 2003. Sounds cleaner with less overdrive. Anyway, once again glad I found this channel. Much respect.

Thanks! Yeah. Extreme metal is my preference but I will go out to others at times. This was the second time seeing Dark Tranquillity with the first being with Amorphis. Also recently I saw Kataklysm at the same show, Cattle Decapitation, and Obscura. Friday I will be seeing Obituary with Gruesome and 200 Stab Wounds and seeing Suffocation with Atheist and Soreption in June. I have seen many other in the past like Carcass, Behemoth, and many more than I can list here. I hope you enjoy my channel and know I will always be getting to new extreme metal as much as I can.

@@perrycreason8014 I have seen many of those great acts you speak of here. I'm going to check that Suffocation, Atheist gig out after I'm done typing. Became if they come within 450 mile round trip I'm going. Suffocation is the one legendary Death Metal band I've yet to see. Other than Death. I remember being 18 when Death and Hammerfall toured the States. I had no idea Chuck would leave us so soon. It truly breaks my heart as it does countless others. What I will say is Derek Boyer is easily top 5 (I'd personally say 2 out of my love for his tone and delivery live) Death Metal bassist. Of course Webster is the man but Boyer has that unmistakable clanky tone. All the while sounding ultra clear. If there is a book to be written on how to write the perfect bassline for any given DM track. Also how to get your bass to cut through the mix live perfectly. Derek Boyer would be the author. You watch suffos rig rundown he has these amazing boutique German made basses called Devil's choice. Three active humbucking pickups and they're all beautiful I'll see if I can share the link with you. Anyway I can ramble on Death Metal, Heavy Metal, TRUE Hardcore (Madball, Integrity, Slapshot etc) all day.

My bad I couldn't figure out how to share the link. Just type in Suffocation GEAR MASTERS.

I know what you mean. I love music, heavy metal being by far my favorite, the more extreme the better. I have seen several (Black Dahlia Murder being another I highly recommend) but plenty that I haven’t seen such as Death (unfortunately never will), Hammerfall, Deicide, and Napalm Death. I am not sure where you are located but hope you can find a way to make it to one of Suffocation’s dates. If you get to Louisville you will be seeing them at a really small venue with great sound at Zanzabar.

@@perrycreason8014 Oh okay, I'm assuming that means you're in Kentucky. True story a very good friend of mine Jarod lives over there. Brothers in Metal we are. He wouldn't mind me mentioning his name. Anyway I am literally on the border of Kern and LA County. Looks like I'll be seeing them in L.A. SUFFO, Atheist and Soreption. That's a great lineup. The bands you mentioned are incredible live. The original Deicide I'm assuming you've seen?! Nothing beat that lineup. Even though they're amazing now. Some their lyrical content bothers me I won't lie but the music is unbeatable. I won't judge don't have any right to. None the less this is going to be amazing. I really miss the south. Enjoy the show out there.
