It’s weird because I be getting fake emails of people portraying to be Ryan Tedder or Jasper Harris trying to work with me and it’s weird that this is now another way to scam people smh

One scam is, that "we need" all the different all new EQ-Plugins because they sound so different. Do a phase shift test with pink noise and compare them... big surprice ;-)
great podcast, not sure if you already touch this but can you expand on why many artists now have like their own label which is signed to a major ? maybe its not a theme for a full podcast and a short explanation would do it, but that came to mind in recent days, thanks

On your topic of openers getting a fanbase, the biggest band I ever discovered (and actually the only one I became a fan of), is when Valley opened for The Band Camino in Toronto. My cousin and I got hooked instantly, they fuckin nailed it
Valley is soooo good. TBC also rips. Going to see them in a couple months!

I agree with you, Austin. Submit hub feedback is not helpful if your music is how YOU like and want it. They should have a Yes/No, Hot/Not cheaper function.
Am I too idealistic to say if you're doing all this stuff it's because your music just isn't good enough?

Taylor Swift totally got on all the billboard chart positions without paying *couch couch*. I know for a fact that you can pay yourself into at least the smaller billboard charts, so it wouldn't surprise me for one bit if she bought herself in. Is your wife a fan of Taylor? What's the magic with her, the lyrics? Where's the chorus in the songs? I know you don't like me that much, and i sound like a whiney boomer! But what the beep.
I just don't get it! Previous songs she's released at least had some form of chorus in them. but this new record with i believe i listened to 31 songs?! Very good ASMR material tho!
We're both big Taylor fans in this house. She has an infinite marketing budget for sure.
But her songs definitely have choruses and hooks. She's relatable, she's digestible, she's full of good melodies. She's the dream pop star for the 2010s and 2020s
