Just throwing out a book suggestion for your book club: The Invisible Life of Addie Larue. I just finished it and it was so different from the books out there - very unique.
@@imtaramichelle nooo that's not awkward at all! I want to pick up painting so I can hang art I made myself. I think self made art is more meaningfull and personal and SO cute. And your paintings look so good as well

I think I've shared on here before that I'm currently going through chemo. And I have to say when you said that your mom was sick I instantly thought oh she's a fighter she's most definitely got this!!! But I do feel your feelings and I'm sorry your family has to go through this but I promise if anyone is gonna kick cancers ass it's most definitely your mom. Well, it's a lil gray this Tuesday too. But.. at least the humidity, has been down..This was a good vlog. The skort paired, with the strapless shirt is so cute. Fantasy rec for your book club: The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent!! You can figure out how the series is laid out by a quick google search but basically this one is the first in a duology that is part of a larger series. I feel like it’s perfect for book club because the main characters’ story ends in the second book so its easy finish if they want, it doesn’t have a lot of world building, and the only fantasy element is really just vampires from what I remember, it doesn’t dive into like fae and all the other magical creature that can sometimes because tricky to wrap ur mind around if you’re not familiar w fantasy. Also the spice is SO good

The husbands by Chandler Baker is a good read. It has romance, suspense, and drama with the tiniest splash of sci fi even. I didn’t think I’d like it when I first read it but it has you going through ALL the emotions. It’s got a lot of funny parts too. Sending prayers to your mom!
I want to be a routine person by my schedule is so chaotic. I do fundraising for a nonprofit and I also do volunteering. On top of that, I have a huge family and friends that I love that I want to spend time with. Everyday is very different

I bought Divine Rivals for my best friend knowing nothing about it… she then lend it to me as she bought the second book, which I’m now currently reading. Highly recommend. It’s an easy read, but so beautifully written.

Everything I know about love is a must read in my opinion! Its real, its funny, emotional, well written and overall a 5 star. After I read it I started gifting it to all my girlfriends, i think its actually a great book for book club, or just in general
My mornings/days are NEVER the same lol the only thing consistent is making my coffee, making it, not necessarily drinking all of it lol
I’m a SAHM that homeschools, teaches horseback riding, has a cottage food law baking business and baby author lol the days are CRAZYYYYY 😂
You could go summer spice for book theme...batch of spicy margaritas and aperol spritz...with some kicked up tapas foods, especially if it has a bit of heat,
Or a book that takes you overseas in what's prob some kind of friendship / relationship and do drinks and munchies from that area. Or just follow the idea for whatever u pick

Hi Tara! May I suggest a way to cut your spaghetti squash. Try scoring it with a small (paring) knife first, then cut with a large knife. I do a chicken, artichoke with cream cheese recipe and eat it right out of the spaghetti squash, so good 😋 i found on Pinterest, I think you’d like it too.
My morning is same but different every day. I don’t have a “set schedule” so sometimes I start work at 11 or sometimes I start work at 4.. sometimes I am able to have a sit down breakfast and some days I have to take a granola bar on the go lol. I work in retail (sadly) and the service industry so nothing is truly consistent

I heard of a book called Red Run that is about a girl and her passenger notice a car that starts following them at a red light. Seemed like an easy read. I forget the name of this one but it's 2 girls on a plane that decide to change identities. Thought that sounded good too. Also praying for your Mom and that she is getting the best treatment. Prayers for your family as well, you are lucky to have such a tight knit of family members.

My mornings are pretty much the same daily. The only time we have a change is when we have an early Dr. appt ( my hubby is a vet so we travel 2 hrs to the VA Hospital for his medical care)
My favorite genre of books is mystery with a supernatural influence. I just finished reading a huge online free book called Werewolf's Heartsong. I stayed up all night a couple nights not able to put it down.
How cute would it be if you hung up some of your travel watercolours in your office. They would be great in your frames. And you can switch them out as you please :)

The mostly true story of Tanner and Louise by colleen oakly - contemporary - two women, one young one old, form an unlikely freindship due to some unfortionate circumstances
The guncle by steven rowley - contemporary - funny and heartwarming. Does deal with grief.
Devine Rivals is an Excellent choice
One dark window by rachel gillig - fantasy - fantasy world were magic runs rampid and the main girl talks to the monster in her head

powerless is a YA fantasy and i think you would really enjoy it. then you have a novella you can read and then the second one came out earlier this month as well. :)

Some thriller/mystery books: The Soulmate (sally hepworth)- very unique storyline. Then she was gone (Lisa jewell). Also, “the perfect couple” by Erin Hilderbrand is going to be a series on Netflix in Sept with a v good cast! The book had a lot of characters to keep track of and ending was kind of abrupt but overall was still 4 stars for me

You should choose ‘Divine Rivals’ for your next read! Very cute and different story, but I loved it!
I am obsessed with both Divine Rivals and Powerless. I gave both 5 stars. Powerless is a little predictable and cheesy, but the banter of Kai Azer is so good. Divine Rivals is so interesting I felt the author really did an amazing job describing things
If you want to go “light” fantasy (b/c let’s be real - it’s not a genre for everyone) I recommend HEARTLESS by Marissa Meyer!! Essentially it’s the story of the making of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland and it grabs you from the very start. I just LOVE that book!
You definitely should pick Powerless!! You will love it!!
