The Parkers set me up with a demo here in Michigan... The Cruzbike embassador named Kevin took his time and talked with me about his Cruzbike T50... Then he allowed me to test drive it with no time limit. I thought that it was amazing! I've spoken to members of the Parker family on several occasions with a ton of questions after my test ride. Maria hooked me up with Cruzbike builder Robert Holler, and I'm proud to say that He'll be building my new S40 in January 2018! Thank you Laid Back Bike Report, Jim, and Maria Parker.
Thanks for the kind comments, Adept Ape! I don't think you can go wrong with a Silvio. The Cruzbikes are just tearing it up in the ultra racing circuits right now so I think you'll continue to hear more about them as time goes on. Jim Parker is going to be on my next show on July 10th about the health benefits of riding recumbent. I hope you'll tune in.
I find Cruzbikes fascinating. I note the comment regards 'bent trike rear wheel drive riders potentially finding adapting to a FWD setup a challenge, (almost like learning to ride all over again!), which I can totally understand. So I do look forward to seeing the leaning trike set-up that was discussed as an alternative :-) ! A very interesting report: Thanks.
Try Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge in New Zealand, each lap around the lake is 95/97 miles for short and long course. Theres a one lap event as well as 2,4,8 laps. Plenty of hills as well as straights
" … I suffer well. Maybe it's my Catholic upbringing." :DDDDD Love that, Maria. Maria and Jim, you guys are awesome. I love what you're doing. Gary, I love what you're doing, too. Thank you so much for having Maria and Jim on the show.
I’m considering buying a recumbent. The V20 and the Lightning R84 are the shortlist. The advantage of the R84 is that it can be fitted with the F40 fairing. Will there be a fairing for Cruzbikes?
Yes, there is a carbon fiber one available from a 3rd party. There is also a canvas type material on available, and both can be used to store quite a bit of stuff you'd typically take on an overnight or multiple day ride.
Thor makes a mailbox and a carbon fiber seat for the Cruzbike V20 Vendetta that gives you a lot of storage space. Of course it adds a bit of weight but it is waterproof to keep your stuff dry.

+Willie Faison that is great news. Enjoy your S40 and let us know how you like it!
Gary Solomon, Will do Gary I'm excited!
Great interview! Your channel is very well done. I really want a Cruzbike Silvio now, it would look great next to the Rans Xstream.
