I was just running into this today. I was basically doing a box top with one "wedged" edge. My company got solidworks 2019 and I've never worked with it before. We've always been AutoCad LT. We're a sheet metal company. I went to a Course but it was an introductory class. The sheet metal class was more money and my employer wasn't willing to pay. Lol. Anyway, your base flange sketch was totally not what i was expecting. Could you offer any support?
The bottom edge is cut perpendicular to the face, all the edges and faces in a same plane or parallel plane of the sheet are perpendicular each other, seem wierd but it´s easy to see.
Sir actually I want to bend a 16 gauge or 18 gauge stainless steel sheet but I didn't get proper information about I want what should be the minimum radius aur k factor binding deduction, if you have data Book of it please send me link
The minor edits you performed on this video (cicling the features, highlighting the relevant region on screen, etc) make this video 5x more helpful than similar videos. Hope you keep it up. What's an easy way we can highlight a box, on screen, by the way? Like here ruclips.net/video/MNNc3mQv_B4/видео.html
Glad they're helpful! That's an animation we used in Camtasia to highlight the box, a feature called "Spotlight". You could do it in other tools with multiple layers and changing the brightness though.
Great presentation ... thanks for sharing!
More show this style Thank You
too much helpful. thank you so much :)
We are so happy you found this helpful.

Thank for the explanation.
We appreciate your comment. Thanks for watching.
Awesome!
Great tip! Thx!
Thank you for watching!
Smart! Thanks for sharing.
It's our pleasure to share. Thanks for watching.
how did you make that angled face in the first place???
A flat Base Flange was created with a mirrored sketch which includes the symmetric angled faces. The part was then formed using Sketch Bend.

CJ I ARE GREE WITH YOU
Why is the bottom edge cut at a different angle then the side edges ? Why are they not all on the same plane ?
The bottom edge is cut perpendicular to the face, all the edges and faces in a same plane or parallel plane of the sheet are perpendicular each other, seem wierd but it´s easy to see.
THANK YOU
How to draw Basin Bowl
What if the other edge is curved ? Please help as I am stuck here...
Curved edges will only work if they are tangent to the other selected linear edges used in the edge flange feature.
👍
