It's great that you are willing to take steps to improve on your English! Once you reach a certain level of fluency it will definitely open more doors for you in Canada. I would try to avoid places with too many fellow Hong Kongers because you will naturally want to drift back into speaking your native language. If you can find a conversational partner who is bilingual in English and Cantonese then that would be the ideal situation for you. Ideally someone who can help coach you on phonetics so you can develop a strong base for the language as I've heard from relatives that phonetics aren't taught in the Hong Kong curriculum. 我驚喜加拿大買賣股票無税, 交易佣金cad10元以內就可買賣, 又無倉費又無收股息手續費, 收到嘅加拿大股息又有tax credit, 唔做嘢只收息, 一年cad7萬多息都唔駛比税, 但安省要比幾百ohip premium。賺capital gain 時只用50%放落個人income度再計, 如用免税戶口仲免税！好適合我呢D息魔。
