Many people make out Jesus to be a lightweight. He was not a wuss. He was a man's man, but without sin. I love this book that shows Jesus in a masculine light. Men seriously need a role model and you don't have to be loved by the world to have ultimate power. You have to have discipline and this book shows a strategic, tough Jesus. "Jesus Was an Airborne Ranger: Find Your Purpose Following the Warrior Christ"

FAITH VS WORKS

God wants to work through us by his power, and not our flesh!

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8
YOU CAN'T LOSE ETERNAL LIFE
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Living the blessed life is simple…don't compromise, and God will give you power over sin, and guide you.
"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:7
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power" Ephesians 1:17-19
We are saved from past, present and future sins. It isn't worded that way as much like it used to be. It doesn't mean that we don't repent, but we are either saved or not saved, that's it. Col. 2:13-14; Psalms 103:12; 1 Pet. 2:24; 1 Jn. 5:13; Jn. 3:16; Jn. 1:14; 1Jn. 1: 1-4;
John 10: 25-30; Heb. 10:10, 14, 17, 18; 1 Jn. 1:7; 1 Jn. 2: 1-2, 12; Ps. 34:8; Mt. 11:28-30.
