I don't know why but I can watch restores like this all day... I just like seeing old things turned back into new again. And I have a huge interest in old military things (weapons, tanks, planes, etc...)
Man take it easy with hammering those pins out. Get the punch spot on and then tap it gently until it moves through the metal...use some penetrating spray if you need to. Tapping it too hard caused you to get your punch wedged in the pin hole, and wiggling the punch to release it from the pin hole runs the risk of enlarging the pin hole so the pin fits improperly. The base plate on the magazine does not appear to be fitting properly.
All I would suggest is making sure to clean the screws and then oil the inside, otherwise very nice! I'd love to find myself a 30 Bore pistol for the collection.
Which Brand it is. Never saw Mark 23 before. At some places the finishing is like hand finished. You have done a great job to restore it. Congratulations
Interesting design but I have to wonder how well what looks to be a straight blowback operated pistol holds up firing what looks to be 7.62x25 Tokarev.
Really, to read the comments, Great job? Beautiful to watch??? AHAHAHA what crap, spray it with mouth wash then pry it? If that dont work break out the hammer? How about you soak it in rust remover before you gouge on it... Just a thought.
I live in place where you cant buy such stuff like rust remover etc and btw the mouth wash you are talkin about is a rust remover spray and for your kind information if you'll watch the video till last you'll see that why these people commenting great job and all those stuff before pointing out the negative points you should just check out the whole video...
Ah thank you very much for you answer :) it was just such a cool looking pistol I was very curious knowing more about it, it's a shame there is not much info about it on the internet.
Странный ствол. Вроде как пакистанский, причем на затворной раме штамп марк-30 а не марк-23. Ничего конкретного в сети про него не удалось найти, правда я и искал не сильно)

Some guns take a lot longer to revamp from rust and corrosion.

Pity you didn't fire it, good refrub though
This Mark 23 Pistol is made in which country? How many bullets can the magazine hold?
7 bullets. 7.62×25 made in Pakistan.
This Italy design pistol is same like AK 47 gun. This is very ruff and tuff Pistol.

@@Restoration_vala Excuse me, I didn't understand what brand of gun this is?
@@MEHTbl_MHE_HE_KEHTbl made in Pakistan caliber 7.62×25.
The only thing missing was internal lubrication.
I used to tell my missus that.....
Who made this gun
What is this gun called? I am very curious to search up some history on it and learn more about it but I can never find out what it's actually called.
Bro its mark 30. A local handmade pistol from Pakistan you wont find much information about it on the Internet
Ah thank you very much for you answer :) it was just such a cool looking pistol I was very curious knowing more about it, it's a shame there is not much info about it on the internet.
Looks like a 1911 and baretta hybrid
I was waiting for a negligent discharge watching him manipulate the pistol with his finger on the trigger
What did you soak it in to get the surface rust for this "restoration"?
Pish.
Aside from two restoration videos (of which this is one) I can't seem to find any information on this firearm. Does anyone else know what it is?
looks like a craft produced handgun based on the beretta 1934 and the Ruby pistol.
Handmade from Pakistan.
If you're gonna load it. Shoot it too
Круто
Isn't this the same pistol I saw the last video
What’s with the birds
What material did you use for the paint
1kg potassium nitrate
1kg caustic soda

Yes it's Pakistan made.
Зачем железной щеткой чистить оружие от небольшой грязи, лучше сразу о асфальт тереть , сразу белый будет.😂
You want to sale it ?
I want this old pistol
No sir they are not for sale
Always horns and chickens in the background of these vids

Nice
You didn't SHOOT it !!
Mal restaurador no tiene las herramientas adecuadas
и какая система автоматики у этого пистолета?по логике как у 1911 и ТТ но как ствол зацеплен с затвором?
Why would anyone leave a firearm outdoors to rust? , just for the views. (fake) Guns like this are normaly babied and taken care of.
