I’d like to hear Forrest start to describe either Pat or Retep and see how long it takes them to figure it out they are the bizarre animal of the week.
Of those 170 species, TWO are found in Uruguay :)
Is it a mata mata turtle, nevermind Forrest shot me down 30sec after I wrote this
If theres the same species as in argentina theres at leats 4 paleatus, aeneus, undulatus, and one more i dont remember
im here passionately screaming pleco at the screen but totally overlooked the corys in my tank.
This has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts
Dam i was racking my brain trying to figure it out and im literally looking at a pair in my red belly tank
How big are ur red belly
Right now they are only about 3" long but growing at a very rapid rate. I've had them since they were smaller than dimes.
I love it when the thumbnail doesn’t spoil it
I guessed a pleco, AKA armoured catfish, I was so close.
Damn i thought the same
I know that one of the networks, or maybe even HBO or NETFLIX, would fund an expedition to Papua New Guinea like Forrest has talked about. Go in there with a team of experts, and maybe some hardcore survivalists, and see what new species you can find in the hardest to reach areas. Maybe drag Jeremy Wade along for fish.
What? Netflix would never in a million years😂 same with HBO. And Jeremy wade? How old r u 5?
When Forrest said I used to have a bunch of these I thought crabs for some reason
THE STORKBILL by FAR!!!!! Nothing says metal than a DEOMON MUPPETT
I don't get how neither of these guys could come up with a fish..... I knew it was a fish when he mentioned the mouth brooding and aquarium.
A backyard Florida night dinosaur?
I got it after “groups of 20-30” (mainly because I used to keep them until I moved on to more exciting fish species).
What are you keeping now?
DOUBT
i was sort of close, i thought it might be a plecostomus
Giving me the Latin translation is dangerous because I know my taxonomic names! I’d just say the name in Latin and technically be correct lol
However, I’ve got to say that this genus, Corydoras, is actually a Greek name.
corys my thought
I went from guessing it’s a capybara to caiman to piranha 😂
I have 3 albino ones and I had NO idea it was the corydoras
I had one for 5 1/2 years, it passed away in December 2020
F*ck that year
I thought Cichlid for sure when u say the blowy lol, but threw me off at the end with the armor & spine..
I had a bristlenose catfish for 6 years unfortunately he died recently
Yeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhhh this is why have studied fish for my hole life
Im ready to play
I was thinking newt or salamander.
I went for the Axelotl
I was gonna guess cichlid, but now im thinking pleco. But do they peen?
Cichlids
I was kinda right I said a fish to be funny
Guessin pleco at 4 mins
Forrest are you a african are not
He was born in South Africa.
Yes he’s African, he said he was born in Zimbabwe
