Great cover! I play it dropped D, but at capo 2. That way, you get a much stronger open E chord instead of an open E note, between the octaves in the verse. This is also how Tom played it for the record and played it live.

at the most, it's 6-10 chords played and all of them are repeated. i learned this song in 5 minutes. it's really not hard dude.

@@ryan_klein yes but the capo puts the d string up to E so it if the root note. so you need the capo and the e string dropped to D
