This is pretty much when trance started for me, I heard it on a phone radio station in 2010 and ended up finding it was out of Tiesto's club life, brings back so many memories. But this is where the trance journey started for me, I see this as the first ever trance track I properly heard or listened to!

In 1996 I was 3 and learning to count, it doesn’t make you any better than me just because in 1996 you were in Ibiza listening to trance when back then it was regarded as mainstream chart music 🤷🏻♂️ But I actually first got into electronic music back when I was 7 listening to The Prodigy. I still knew of trance when I was a teenager especially older tracks but I never truly fell in love with it until 2010. My favourite era of trance is from 2004-2011 :)

Glad to have heard this track get played yesterday on the ASOT top 50 trance tracks of all time. The reason why is because, for me personally, it was basically thee track that got me into trance over 10 years ago, on the 11th September 2010. I remember the specific time and place where I listened to it (In a bunk bed in a hotel called ‘the old england’ on Lake Windermere, England). I was unknowingly at the time listening to tiestos club life on digitally imported fm, the reason i discovered this was because on that night I decided to try and find new music to listen to after becoming bored from hardcore for the past 2-3 years. As soon as I heard this track along with 4 others on that very Tiestos Club Life episode 180, I instantly fell in love with this music. My shift from hardcore to trance happened on that day, and over 10 years later, I’ve never looked back 🙌🏻
