Thanks for the vids, man. Just bought an 02 Sequoia for cheap because of this very problem! Also following your informative vids on installing camera/radio. Making it look easy! Now the hard part is to vaccum out the dog hair. There's a lot of carpet in here!
Thanks for the video. Do you have a video that shows how you installed the back up camera on the sequoia? I took it to 2 stereo installers - neither would do it.
The wife took her 2007 Toyota Sequioa into the dealer yesterday to have the latch replaced. They charged her $108.00, to tell her it would be $526.00 to fix it. The $20.00 OEM part will be here on Tuesday via eBay.
Three Toyota dealerships wanted more than $350 to replace the rear latch handle. WOW! What a bunch of "ganeves" (thieves). Thank for the Internet, I order a metal handle for $16, not the plastic kind their have at Toyota that will break again, and fixed it myself. It would be more hours to drop the car and come back to pick it up, plus another person to drop you and pick you up, than to do it yourself. It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes for the dealer to replace it, and they want to charge more than $250 for labor, so they can pay for their fancy building.
