Something to think about: Unique is BOTH a Probiotic and Enzyme treatment - this type of formula can eliminate odors AND prevent clogs. Other formulas can only do one or the other
You make quite a few "must need" RV supply videos but i always watch them because invariably there are 1 or 2 items I add to my list I'm building for my future RV journey's. ❤
We travel for months at a time in our 20 foot travel trailer with five people have never had to rely on paper plates or plastic forks even when Boondocking for three days with only 30 gallons of water
Us too! Hatin on Walmart for money, sad. 15% off or not if Walmarts work (which it does) than it works! Not to mention all the other great things they offer.
Unique is the #1 selling Probiotic and Enzyme treatment - this type of formula can eliminate odors AND prevent clogs. Other formulas can only do one or the other
Omg I know you were at the Walmart in Apopka at 436 and Piedmont Wekiwa! lol. My mom lives about 2 miles from there. Been there many times and had a few burgers at the Steak N Shake
When you store a travel trailer, what is the best way to cover the windows? Sun ruined our last trailers flooring, so when we store it for the winter, we need to cover the windows.
Pick up some Reflectix to cut out for each window. Great stuff! www.amazon.com/dp/B000BPAULS/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_S54PSD1NC56PHQ25HFQ2?linkCode=ml2&tag=techknow01-20
Some Walmarts do sell the Unique Digest it liquid and/or tablets. Thanks for the great tips as always! You sound like you have the crud that’s going around. Hope you are on the mend!
We use the same tank treatment and after about 2 drains, the sensor’s are on 0, and we use Cottonelle. We have 2 Corelle plates for steak and the rest is paper.
Many good suggestions, Charity, thank you for this video! We have friends who, when their stinky slinky springs a leak, they attempt to patch it with duct tape! No, no, no, no! I replace it!
Great advice! Walmart varies a lot from store to store regarding how many RV supplies they carry, but we’ve found one near a local state park has a large RV section. I’ve also recently discovered Tractor Supply carries several RV items along with tons of things helpful with repairs. Thanks again for helping our family be RV smart!
I picked up RV antifreeze (prestone brand) from Walmart. After running it thru the kitchen faucet, my carbon monoxide detector went off. After opening the outside door and turning on the ceiling fan everything went back to normal. I didn't think much about it for a month or so but, I had a couple of gallons left over so when my daughter and son-in-law were finished camping we used the same stuff on there TT. Yep same thing, carbon monoxide detector went off. I guess we know now out Co detectors work (:
This is a very basic but necessary video. I agree with everything that you have covered in detail for the newbie. Thanks for taking the time to make the video. I too love making them but I don’t have your skills. Thomyt
Clearly the RV section at a Florida Wal-Mart is way better stocked than here in Pennsylvania. Ours has a few things, but nothing name brand. And have you ever noticed when buying plastic utensils that you can buy a box of spoons and a box of forks but nobody packages just a box of knives?
I think Matt would disagree. 😆 🤔 Even 2 minute tech tip Tuesday did a head to head with Liquify...you might want to check the results. I know they are a sponsor but what works, works.
My dad always said use single ply to only. Does Unique have tank deodorizers also? Thanks for this video. We have some of this stuff in totes in our storage shed.
What is the name of the gasket for sewer hose. I think I found it just not sure. I am assuming it is to accommodate various size opening to dump station.
That’s what I thought. Just finally got class b haven’t even taken it out but I sure don’t wanna have a problem with that. Thanks for the info. Have a great day.
We use the cheap stuff from Walmart for the black tank and have no problems. We also just use a regular hose to fill our clean water tank. I never have hooked up to a pressure system. We don't have a water filter and don't drink the water from the camper. We used bottled water. There are enough people running around drinking bottled water when they don't have to so my little contribution to the destruction of the planet doesn't matter. The electrical adapters are a good idea. I have a NEMA 14-50 on my shop so we can weld outside when the weather is nice and an adapter so I can plug my TT-30 into it. I also have cord that plugs into the camper and converts to a 5-15 so I can use a cheap 16 ga extension cord to keep the battery charged and the refrigerator running and not degrade the expensive TT-30 cord. I told my wife to NOT use the AC, microwave, or electric water heater when the camper is plugged in with the 16 ga cord. After our last trip, I bought at 25' TT-30 extension cord. Luckily the couple we were camping with had a spare that I could use to orient our camper the way we wanted it oriented.
Your Walmart is much better supplied than my Walmart, nevertheless if I would have known about Walmart I could have saved hundreds of dollars vs buying at the RV dealer.

We've never used anything but the Porta Pak for our black tank, and 8 years in, no issues at all.
Are you crazy? The Matt's RV Mafia will hunt you down! lol

Me either. I just cant justify paper/plastic. Plus, they require so much of my limited storage space. Im also in a 20ft travel trailer.
We use the black tank treatments sold at Walmart with no problems for years.

Maybe we’ll give Unique a try someday. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, on the mend. Thanks for watching

Enjoyed the video although I never shop at Walmart if I can help it. May I suggest a Target video sometime.
Many good suggestions, Charity, thank you for this video! We have friends who, when their stinky slinky springs a leak, they attempt to patch it with duct tape! No, no, no, no! I replace it!
What!?! We are for duct tape but not on the important stuff like the stinky slinky! 😮

Unique digest it is available at my local Walmart.
Awesome!
Great video. At 7:04 you show a drone shot showing an rv park in a valley. Where is that?

That's interesting (and odd).
Charity, do you have a cold? Hope you feel better soon. Great info for beginners.
Yes! I am recovering, thanks for watching
I get my dehumidifiers at Dollar Tree. At a buck & a quarter each, that's cheaper than Wally-world. 🙂
Good information for newbies! -Michelle
👍🏻
Very helpful thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
We don’t even have sewer hook ups in the UK
My silverware drawer is actually my plastic drawer . Paper plates but lightweight Wallyworld plastic bowls . The paper bowls are too small .
👍🏻

It seems we never use plastic knives anyways? 🤔
@@GratefulGlamper Apparently nobody does but us. 🙂I wound up buying a big box of them on Amazon.
The holding tank cleaner can you get it in the UK?
How do you decide what the water pressure should be on the gauge?
We usually set it to 55-60 PSI
I think Matt would disagree. 😆 🤔 Even 2 minute tech tip Tuesday did a head to head with Liquify...you might want to check the results. I know they are a sponsor but what works, works.
Thanks for the info!
I actually switched from liquify to unique... liquify just didn't live up to the hype for us
Liquified didn’t work. Went back to happy camper and dawn.
My dad always said use single ply to only. Does Unique have tank deodorizers also? Thanks for this video. We have some of this stuff in totes in our storage shed.
Yes, Unique has a full line up of tank treatments including deodorizers
Shame we don’t have one in the UK
What is the name of the gasket for sewer hose. I think I found it just not sure. I am assuming it is to accommodate various size opening to dump station.
It's kind of a cone shape so it's like a one size fits all - it's also on Amazon here: amzn.to/3GptnGK

The random guy behind John as he was showing off his “guns” actually looked kinda nervous. 🤣😂😅😁
😂

I'm quite surprised you are recording in Walmart. I've seen many videos where they trespass people for the same.
That’s interesting! We’ve never had an issue recording in Walmart but we’re also very discreet when we film and respectful to others.
Sounding a bit raspy. Get some rest I'm betting you've got the same crud going on around here in the PNW.
I've never shopped at Walmart.
Your Walmart is much better supplied than my Walmart, nevertheless if I would have known about Walmart I could have saved hundreds of dollars vs buying at the RV dealer.
Exactly!
4 rolls of TP in a day!?! What are you all eating!?! 😳😂
When it’s like only 100 sheet per roll,,..🤷♀️
❤❤❤❤

😂
Do you have other jobs besides YT. ? I'm looking for ways to earn on the road.Thank you
Charity having a problem with your voice it sounds like you have a sore throat?
Yes, I caught a head cold but I’m on the mend!
So wasteful and bad for the environment to use all that disposable stuff!!
