My boyfriend and I went to a baseball game last week, and they had a contest for the most spirited fan of the game. Two 10-year old brothers won, and at one point the stadium played the YMCA. When these boys DIDN'T KNOW IT my soul just left my body. I've still not recovered from the sheer force with which my age (just 31!) hit me.

That really takes me back to when my dad used to threaten my sister and I with being hosed down and washed with the shammy leather if we didn't come in for our bath when we were little. Also, age is just a number when all said and done, but I like to say, I'm as old as who I feel... x
What dose et al mean as in horse racing you get it allot especially if they are dead like Trevor Hemings(he was a race horse owner and owner of Preston NE fc)
for the team baker issue- I would find some recipes of some healthier treats to give the colleague and say something like you make such wonderful treats, would you be able to make something like this for us please? Like the OP seays, they are trying to do it to build bonds with the team, it's likely something they feel confident in so they think this is the best way to make friends :) maybe also bring in some fruit so you got a fruit and cake treat table
I manage a bar and our coffee machine we do same milks as you might find other coffee shops I make it a rule after every 10 coffees we make we change the cloth #sprinklesparklespunk
Buying cakes on your birthday makes it easier in an office as no one needs to organise who buys it. If you don’t bring in cakes then everyone knows you are a miserable cow! 😂
