My son is so happy you guys are posting new videos! From age 3 to now 5 he’s followed along on your adventures! In this video he realized that Axel is “grown up” now. Tell Axel thank you for being a part of my son’s development, hope he knows how special these videos are to other little boys learning to be good humans.
You must be so pleased your son has now officially re-affirmed your Humanity!
And Axe, congratulations on your first deer. Two shots, two clean kills is impressive. The boy has become a man, providing large game for his family's sustenance. This is a wonderful, yet sobering moment; full of meaning that goes back to the beginning of our species.
But do us a favor, and never lose that boy-like quality of loving to spent time with the old man!

My boys loved this video as their daddy and grandpa are hunters! It was great for them to really see the difference in deer and terrain compared to where we live in Indiana!

I just have to say that my sons (age 3 and 5) and I watched this video via the app today and it was SUCH a great video for us to have so many educational conversations. I paused for my 5 year old to sound out the captions that came up in red, we talked about gun safety and pointed out how you & Axel were being very safe, we researched the type of deer you killed, we paused to read about different uses for deer hide, we talked about how killing the deer was different from senseless killing and why it was important to get a good clean shot. We had so much rich conversation and learning! This is true with most of your videos too. My boys learn so much and ask questions and get really involved with researching and learning more after the videos are over. My 5 year old has been watching for 3 years now, and he takes so much of the knowledge he’s gained from your videos out and about and teaches his friends. I tell EVERYONE I know about you guys. Your family is a blessing to us ❤️

Hello. I hunt white tail in WI, and on white tail, white dots typically means the deer is a fawn, and it’s hard to kill a baby. If the species is invasive it’s gotta go, but I’m just curious if it’s the same with these deer in Hawaii. Does the white dots indicate that it’s a baby, or is it in adults as well? No hate, loved the video it was amazing, I’m just curious.
They all have white spots. Even the adults. Glad you enjoyed it!
