    After getting rid of cancer I felt so sick after taking a multi-vitamin. So in that respect I agree with you. But where I don't agree is with Vitamin K2 not having any benefit. I take it to lower my cholesterol risk along with Vitamin D3. As it takes the calcium out of the arteries and putting into the bones as I'm sure you know.

    Hello, love the jacket by the way!!
    I must state that as someone who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage 3 and is constantly researching as I have declined mop up chemo following a whippple procedure. I am currently reading Cancer Free Food by Liana Werner-Gray, who would strongly disagree regarding your comments about Vit C and tumeric. She healed herself of cancer by way of nutrition. Your thoughts?
    I will tend to stick with my research findings, but thank you for your video. I'd be very interested in your thoughts regarding the book I'm currently reading and its findings.

    Vitamin C has all sorts of benefits, even if it doesn’t help cancer. I get not taking it during chemo and radiation, but are you saying you shouldn't take it later, such as during aromatase inhibitors?

    Hi Dr. Amy, I like your videos, but I totally disagree with your present video.
    Your video seems to me as if you were sponsored to talk against the benefits of VitC, K2 and turmeric. Alot of micro and macro nutrients can be gotten from green veggies however supplementation with the vitamins you talked down are beneficial to Inhibits Chemo and Radio side effects in the body.
    I have supported many cancer patients with high dose of VitC, VitD3+k3 and curcumin. They all became better and their life qualities improved.
    Please be kind and not discourage cancer patients with your sponsored video.

    I love all your videos, Dr. Amy, you are a force! I'd like to ask you about some other supplements that I take. I take hemp seed oil everyday, and, on occasions, I take reishi capsules. I would love to take marine collagen too in the future. Do you think what I take (hemp seed oil and reishi) is useless? Or okay? I would really like to know your opinion. Thank you for setting a great example to us. ♥

    I'm starting to think that tamoxifen is useless. I feel super sick on it. I took a week off of it for Disneyland. I felt so much more energetic and happy. Went back on it and my mood is bitchy, depressed and feel sick again. The whole point of chemo, mastectomy and radiation was to get rid of cancer. Not to continue to take more drugs and feel sick.

    How do I know I'm getting all the micro minerals I need? How can I tell how much chromium I'm getting in my diet? How much zinc am I getting daily? How much selenium? I'm a vegetarian. How do I know if the soil my produce was grown in was rich in minerals? How do I know that soil isn't depleted? I'm a post menopausal woman . I believe micro nutrients are important for the elderly. My skin looks better and my energy level is better when I take my multi vitamin. I take a high quality multi. Quite frankly I don't eat a perfectly healthy balanced diet everyday. I was never able to do it and I still can't. SO I'm willing to have expensive pee. I'm aware my body takes what it wants from the vitamins and I pee out the rest of the vitamins. I'm 68 years old. I had perfect health my whole life until I got a breast cancer diagnosis at 65 yrs old. I still have perfect health except for taking only one medication which is tamoxifen. I'm proud I do not have diabetes , heart problems, no high cholesterol, no high blood pressure. I have been taking daily vitamins since I was 10 years old. I'm not saying my vitamins have given me good health. I personally believe they have contributed to my longevity and good health. I try very hard to stay a healthy weight and walk and eat right. But sometimes I go crazy u and eat goodies or organic tortilla chips. I know it's bad but I need to treat myself sometimes. I do prioritize my walking. I do not take turmeric nor anything that interacts with my tamoxifen. I'm going to continue taking my vitamins because they make me feel better.

    • @dramycancerrecovery
      @dramycancerrecovery  2 месяца назад

      That's actually quite easy. RDA is what you need to function/survive. Those guidelines were developed during the war when food was being rationed so almost everyone is eating beyond that now

      I researched this and considered it as a treatment for my cancer but for it yo be affective you need to take high dose of vitamin C for any benefits.

      @@msk3905 @msk3905 True! Also, magnesium for the function of the organs, zinc for the immunity, E for the tissue, and D for inflammation. Sometimes, you just need to increase your daily doses of vitamin C 4g to 8, D 50000 u, and magnesium to 400. All symptoms fade, and there'll be no need to take extra medication.

    This is terrible advice. Vitamin C and Turmeric are “useless”? That couldn’t be more wrong. Also, a high quality Curcumin supplement can be well absorbed.
