A great advantage of the SLR is that it does over 75dmg to a lvl2 helmet. So if your enemy has a lvl2 helmet and you headshot him, he will most likely take cover, use a first aid and gain 75hp. If he then re-peaks without letting a booster heal him up further, he will be a one shot to the head. According to the datasheet this works up to 228m. The SKS, on the other hand, can't do this at any range.
Wait if he gets 75dmg which puts him at 25hp and after heal of 75hp doesn't become full 100hp?
Then how can he get knocked/killed after one slr headshot?

if he uses a first aid kit or uses no consumable after getting headshotted with slr while he has a lvl.2 helmet, he can be killed by another headshot
The fact that you need 2 shots in the neck with a crossbow is just mind-blowing considering you only need 1 for the head even with a lvl 3 helmet.

haven't seen the whole video yet, but when I used to use this page I would always put the highest level gear for my opponent. That way if I know it take 6 shots to kill someone with lvl 3 gear I can definitely kill any other armor with equal or less bullets

i love the nonexistent recoil on the prone DP :D I got a double kill from 397 meters some time ago. granted, i third-partied two dudes sniping another duo, but its so satisfying hitting those 3 shot bursts connect over that distance and watch people absolutely panic :D

It is almost as good in every situation (1ms better against L3 vest somehow), but the usual rule applies - only if you can make every bullet hit, I know I can't! VSS sounds and looks way better though :)
VSS is perfect for some people but not the easiest weapon to handle for most , especially at close range ..
If you hand the sway nicely its as lethal as any other weapon to any decent player ..

maybe someday the devs make it more meta by allowing you to put a holo or 2x on it
when you look at the numbers on burst mutant, it's insane. you can even get the second burst out faster by clicking perfect, but it takes practice. only problem is, that you will most likely fail. potential fast kills far away.. but who can really do it?

The Mutant, if you put it on burst, if you're within 50 feet, and you aim center mass, that's a one click kill (on level 2 gear) with wasting an extra round and trying to cork the recoil too much.
Its kind of situational, but it's a pretty common situation to be within 50 feet of someone and you're able to see his chest and head.

Shooting the foot or hand should effect movement speed and ADS speeds etc etc, dismemberment like the old Soldier Of Fortune games would be so kick ass.

I wish there were RECOIL & DAMAGE DROPOFF CHARTS like there used to be for BF 3 & 4
For bullet velocity that's a curve, and key_1 might not be at 100m.
I'm not familiar with the actual class that is used to create this velocity model, but I see two things, that help me to make an educated guess, "InterpolateMode" and "Time" in each key. Since game is time based, I think it's save to assume that you are looking at an interpolation of time. So if bullet traveled for 50ms, it's velocity is updated with an average (based on InterpolateMode) between key_0 and key_1. And based on the number of "ticks" in the game, that can be calculated every frame or every 1ms.

I think that the JSON array is not by distance but by time? The first bullet velocity is at Time 0, the second bullet velocity is at Time 100, etc.

It should knock out or kill you immediately with any helmet/vest, but a lv3 vest can save you from that. It's disappointing.
It is true. The hand damage thing just causes inflation with damage. Older games couldn't handle separate damage and later headshots became a thing which was a specific spot that does more damage and encourages accuracy. But to go the opposite way and create a new hitbox that does less damage is confusing. This is where the developers need to choose between realism and video game balance. Realism to the fullest is never good in most genres.
He is so underrated
After I started playing cod and watched XclusiveAce'gun guides now I know how much it helps to know the stats. It would be nice to have someone make this kind of gun guides with TTK, shots to kill, damage range, attachments breakdown etc for pubg.

Nice video Wacky, thanks :) Another great info from this page, is that an SKS does 74.7 damage when wearing a level 2 helmet, while an SLR does 78.9. Just below and above a full first aid heal..

In my opinion the DP-28 is a better DMR than the SKS. First off the single tap recoil on a DP is very manageable. Second the damage is similar. Third the bullet velocity is initially higher. Fourth you have more than double the ammunition in a magazine. Fifth you only need 1 attachment. This weapon is criminally underated. I also think the mutant (in burst) is also underated for other reasons.
One question I have is are we sure that the "time" parameter in weapon ballistics is referring to the velocities at that number of meters or is it actually referring to a measurement of time, as the parameter name would imply? It's all really confusing to me because at least at a cursory glance there is some conflicting data in these JSON files. For example, C_Ballistic_M16A4.json seems to point toward a muzzle velocity of 910 m/s for the M16, but there's another file, WeapM16A4_WeaponTrajectoryData.json, which also imports the aforementioned file, with a point of data that says "initial speed: 900". So which is it, and how does PUBG read these files?

People still years later sleeping on the dp-28 if you crouch with that gun it has some of the most manageable recoil control in the game. An absolute monster in the right hands.
I've been using that site for years. But there was a Google doc that showed all the data in a nicer way, including bullet velocity. Unfortunately, it has not been maintained since 2019.

Same here. Even a fully modded SKS compared with bare SLR, i still have a harder time with the SKS's barrel jumping all over the place.
Very timely, I did an analysis of some of this data a few days back and concluded that the G36C is better than the M416 (higher bullet velocity, more damage per shot, same rate of fire, same recoil) and yet my conclusion remains controversial.
Do they have this for PUBG mobile?

so this is interesting, all of my games I've played since the last update have had 1-10 bots according to stats, usually more on the 1 or 2 side. Only when I've played late at night did I get ~60 or 70 bots (playing from Canada).
The bots are insane now, they spray you down from 100m away
@@myclamish pubg should really give the option to change server. Because of my location i always get South east Asia where I face 90% bots. But when I play duo/squads with mates who live 20kms away I get European server, where we face real people.
those infos are really good to know..but there are more important issues..like i am using an 7700k procesor with 1060 6gb card and 16 g ram
before i could stream and play pubg with one set up..now i cant even play the game..
the game runs ok and nice but it shutters like crazy and for no reason..

In real life the m24 is one of the best sniper rifles ever. Cant believe they made a world war era rifle better. The k98 had way more use and copies made but it isn't as good by a long shot.
