ReVolt! One I've never gotten my hands on but it looks great. Nice reference to The Rock there, I can imagine Connery on that fourth screen looking at that elevator saying "either way I'm f****d"
I didn’t realise how many probe games I’ve played. Re-volt does show how good the Dreamcast was. Definitely a system where I’ve missed a load of games.
They were invisible at times what with all the conversions but I think that experience really helped with some of their own stuff. Re-Volt has aged incredibly.
I love Re-Volt. Bought it together with my DC back in 2000. Shame that Probe went under. They made a lot of good games, but also some real stinkers. I miss publishers like Acclaim and Midway too.
I recommend it, it’s trivial to find because no one appears to have ever cared to ask them to take it down and of course being a former GOG release it’s drm free.
It's back on GOG catalog!
Ooh so it is! And now for the lazy way to update a video, pinning the comment of the kind person who told you!
Lovely vid! I have mad respect for PROBE for their conversion of Alien3 on the Master System. Wonderful stuff.
Ooh yes I should have mentioned that one, lovely stuff.

I’m glad someone else knew what I was getting at there!
those reflective museum floors... I often forget just how nice the dreamcast looked sometimes
I'd forgotten the dream cast handled effects like that. If he'd told me that was on something more modern like thewii u I would have believed him.
Yeah, my reaction at that point, while scripted was transposed from what I thought at that moment. Gonna need to play more Dreamcast.

The DC did seem to have a knack for "Sunny blue skies" games when the PS2 had a nasty tendency to go greygreenbrown.
I'd forgotten Probe even existed 😂 Alas I never played Re-volt!

I think I played Revolt as a kid, I vaguely remember it, though I didn't have a Dreamcast, so I don't know how I played it.
It got PC and PlayStation releases as well, just they happened slightly earlier so weren’t the “last probe game”. I played the pc one at the time.
Great way to see the growth and change of a company!
Had more then a few Probe ports being on the Amiga so this was a fun watch.
Yeah they did a heck of a lot.

Acclaim and Probe was basically a long term murder suicide sadly. I think Midway still exist in some company’s ip pile.
Owwww more high quality Dudley content.
Much appreciated :)
I see the word Probe, unsurprisingly I think Mortal Kombat 2... but also by contrast, that crappy Batman Forever on SNES 😅
Ooh yes, not a high point. There’s absolutely some other stinkers hiding in that catalogue.
I am sure the bullets on screen 4 of Alcatraz speed up as you go up the lift.
They’re dickheads is what they are. But yeah I continue to be baffled by that timing. It must BE possible but cannot work out how.
Nice vid ……and pretty interesting x
Thank you miss :)
Really interesting video, re-volt looks like a lot of fun, I may have to go use Google. Congratulations on hitting the big 1k, very well deserved.
