i downloaded the 808 and when ever i play it, it plays beyond where the note is on the piano roll, please someone help.
look up how to cut 808s on youtube or look at my "how to tune 808s video" i think i have it there

Go to the sample and press the envelope button then turn the hold nob up and everything else down

Hey at 2:05 how do you make the 808 end when the piano roll note ends?
i believe he put a really small note in front of it then muted said note by pressing "T" and clicking on said note. make sure you have "cut itself" on the 808 sample when you right click it for it to work
you can also go into the flstudio adsr part of the sampler by pressing the triangle with three dots and set everything but the hold to nothing and the hold to max.
or just make it an envelope and put everything down but the sustain

How can i make the 808 stop with the length of the key? It always playes the whole thing
Right click it and select cut itself. Its in the menu where all your sounds are, if that makes sense. Then placing an 808 right after the 808 you want played and turning it all the way down with the velocity line in the bottom of the piano roll. Hope that helped
go to the sampler by double clicking on the 808 and turn down everything except for the hold, turn that up all the way. this should be easier than the other method

go to the envelope and turn everything down except hold
