Anyone else surprised Athena didnt just wipe out the suitors herself? i mean they are bullying Penelope her student's wife and Telemachus who seems like either a godson or grandson to her.
I feel like she and other gods have limited authority on how much they can interfere in the mortal realm I mean she needed to ask permission to Zeus the king of gods for Devine Intervention (at least in this version of the greek myth) Beside what is exciting and interesting about ending the final arc of the Odyssey just like that 😂😂😂 (Sorry for the bad english)
I don’t get the ending of this saga tbh. Like if the snippets haven’t changed she shows up later, and you can’t really kill a goddess- see Calypso’s line and the serious implications it has for the rest of Greek mythology- but it looks like she died?
Zeus turned Athena into a human at the end, confirmed by Gwendy in a livestream, which is why she bleeds red and not golden inchor. And Zeus HAS turned Gods into mortals in Greek mythology (Apollo) so it isn't far-fetched.
