Always a brilliant looking aircraft. Long service history. A real workhorse.

Fue la única vez que los ingleses vieron de cerca un Super Etendard. En la guerra solo sintieron el poder de los 5 confites que les tiraron. Y tuvieron suerte de que no hubiera más, sino se volvían nadando.

I always picture of these things skimming across the water and Unleashing their Exocet missiles on an unsuspecting ship!

I've always wondered why the Etendard (or at least the Super Etendard) never sported an afterburner while the Mirage III did even though they both used the Atar engine. Pilots may not have used it as a way to increase top speed (if that was even possible given how the wing on the Etendard it relatively thick) but the increase in vertical performance would've been stunning! (Not that it's too shabby as is.) This was a nice spirited display and I loved how often they were pulling hard enough to get some nice fat wingtip vortices!

The engine with AB should have been longer and heavier. Plus, the SUE wasn't designed to be supersonic, so the whole aircraft should have been redesigned. :)

La forma del avión no lo dejaría usar posquemador..... Parece un avión de pasajeros comercial..... Seguramente entraría en perdida como le pasa al f16

I would have preferred a display where their NATO ally went to war with Argentina and the French engineers elected to stay in Argentina to get the Exocet missiles working properly. Now that's customer service.

Argentino Castro Allow me to elaborate on what you were Attempting to say here. and not very well may I add.. what happened in the Campaign for the Falkland Islands. was 2 Mirages Sank 3 British ships. 1 warship. 1 Supply ship. and I believe the third was a hospital ship. though I might be wrong about thsy

@A A lucky for Argentina the British were fighting 8000 miles from home because if it were the same distance as what the Argies were fighting no ships would be hit and all of Argentina's planes would of been distroyed in Argentina on the ground even so the Argies still lost most of there airforce and also lost 23-0 in air to air combat .
