- From worst rated hotel to budget hotel. easyHotel is a budget hotel chain like Travelodge and Premier Inn but how does it compare with its rival? Find out in this video as I stay the night in an easyHotel and let you know.
You might have heard of the budget airline easyJet but they also do budget hotels too which you may not know about. I have seen them in a few cities now like London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham etc so though it would be a good idea to see what they are like.

Was this room worth it?
Comment Below 😀
For 50 quid I'd much rather go to Premier Inn, Holiday Inn or even Travelodge
Absolutely not worth £50!!
Errrr. No.
I feel sorry for housekeeping having to change those beds in such a limited space
So true. I bet they're on pittance while the owners stay at the Ritz!
So glad you did that so we don't have to😉. It looked ok but the cramped space would be a nightmare. I think when designing the layout a lot of input came from the Airline Cabin Design Team😆
It did feel like being in a place seat with the tight spaces lol
Good review. Personally, I'd pay a bit more for a Premier Inn (at least you have more space, and more importantly a kettle with condiments!)
I agree, there was a Travelodge about 5 minutes away that was cheaper and you would get more space and kettle etc
I think people are a bit too harsh here in the comment section ! Lol. I think I'm greatful that nowadays there are so many selections for hotels/ accomodations !! Just like budget airlines, hotels in that perspective are much needed ! So many types of people can travel more than ever because of those !! I think the window is bad ,though ! I dislike those rooms without windows for hygiene issues / health / mental health issues !! But,other than that ...an elevator would be very nice & tea/ coffee in rooms would ,too !! I think people book easy hotels are people just want places to crash !! I think it serves the purpose !!💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
If it was a bit cheaper I think it would have been worth it
@everydayimeating3407 O.k. ! Lol. A very good video ,thank you ! Thank you so much for your reply !! 💜 🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
Honestly I don't like that at all. If it was cheap enough I would stay there for a short period, but it would have to be substantially cheaper than the competition. It is missing far too many thing that are included as standard in even budget hotels. I can't see any way two people could stay in that room as the second bed would have to be used for storage space since there is none in the room! £50 is far too much for this.
I've stayed in Easy hotels and I must say that the last one I stayed in, which is in Luton, wasn't the best. The bathroom is so small, that one can shower and go to the loo at the same time, and if one is morbidly obese, there will be a problem fitting in. The room itself is small. I paid £38.00 for one night. The remote control had no back for the batteries, there is one hanger mounted onto the wall and the bed itself was comfortable enough but not the best. Also, the lift wasn't working, but it was a touch that I was on the first floor. And yes, the storage is under the bed. Easy Hotels don't have any facilities for making tea. Their hotels are pretty drab really. The rooms are small. And the one in Luton has no restaurant, gym or anything for patrons, other than a vending machine. Otherwise, it's a case of going into town (which is also lame) for food and drink. Really and truly, if you want cheap, that's what you get.
The best budget hotel IMHO is Ibis. Stayed many a time. Good value for money. Also, great breakfasts which you might want to review.
My God that's the worst hotel room I've ever seen, the bathroom wasn't bad. I'm pleased you review these these sort of things you must have saved people a fortune. Another thing what if you are disabled how would you manage the stairs. Could i ask your name if you don't mind giving it out just so i can address you by name
I might do a name reveal in a future video 😀
OK. Lovely
I would have thought that there were minimum size regulations for hotel rooms. Surely anyone elderly or with mobility issues would have problems. I hope this is made clear before booking. Not for me at any price.
I can smell the despair and hopelessness. What a sad place. If you're feeling suicidal, please don't go there.
They should at least have a free coffee & tea making service to bring up to the room, instead of charging 2 or 3 pounds each time.
I'm not impressed with Easy Hotels. I'm disabled, though not a wheelchair user. Even so the lack of space would be dangerous for me. Plus not great with the lift out of action. Although it makes me wonder if they have adapted rooms for disabled guests? I always found Premier Inn great for my needs. You get tea/coffee making facilities & a hairdryer. I won't be staying at an Easy Hotel anytime soon methinks!!
I think travel lodge and premier in are a bit better value!
Apparently, they have accessible rooms...or at least the one I've been looking at in Milton Keynes does.
Thank you for your very interesting review. In my opinion, those who want to spend half a day in a hotel, then this is not suitable for them, but those who want to travel outside and just take a shower, toilet and sleep in a hotel, then it is very suitable for them. I would not recommend for an elderly couple or children, but definitely recommended for young people who want a cheap vacation.
Totally agree
For 50 quid, I'd feel cheated
Its a bit steep for the space you get
Hair dryer and a kettle is a must. Ok let’s say its a budget hotel but at least put the necessary things in the room. The room is already tights but not dryer and kettle is like🤣🤣🤣
As long as you're a master of the 'Side Foot Shuffle' you'll have no problem moving around the bottom of the beds.😫😮
It's a shame that the room was missing both a hair dryer and a kettle. If the hotel doesn't provide a hair dryer I can usually stick my wet head inside the kettle and dry my hair that way while watching the telly.
Is it worth it? It depends what the alternatives are.
What a depressing hotel. I would run for the hills.
I no we're i not stay. If you hqd luggage we're do you put it
There is a space under the bed which I think is for luggage but its a bit tight
I could just about accept this, with all its limitations, if maintenance was better, specially that some lights in the bedroom were not functioning and I wonder how long that lift has been out of action. I don’t mind easyJet as an airline, but its hotel brand seems like a bit of a rip-off if this one typifies the offering.
I was expecting it to be a little better than it was and have more space
How can it be a rip off. Very central rooms for under £50 mostly and also sometimes £15. I worked for them if there is any problems always happy to change room and will be noted to be fixed.
I stayed in one in Sheffield a year or so ago, for what I wanted it for it was fine. I can't remember the price but it was cheaper than a premier inn at the time, I had two minor complaints though 1. Things stopped charging when the lights went out and 2. I wish they had shower mats for their guests, I had to use a towel in the shower to stand on as I have a nasty fear of slipping in showers. If you stayed during the week (Sunday-Thursday then the rates should have been good.
Thanks because I'm thinking of staying in the Sheffield one
Travelodge is much better and cheaper too, that hotel looked a bit sparse, clean but characterless and devoid of personality.
I was hoping to stay in the Sheffield one
Stop right there...........
This wasn't a room review but more like check out my closet 🤣
Total rip off and glad you've saved people an expensive mistake 👍
It was a pretty small room!
I'll avoid Easy Hotels. Thanks for the heads up.
There’s about as much leg room at end and side of them beds as there is on their flights 😂 poor airline poor hotel tbh lights not work and lift and the space wow … clean enough that’s about all I could see that wasn’t to bad
It was a pretty small room! If there was only a single bed, then it would have been ok
@@everydayimeating3407 wasn’t tho just tell all the viewers it was shit
Just a place to sleep really…could be cheaper though.
If it was cheaper it would have been better value I agree
I think you overpaid should’ve gotten it for 25 especially with no elevator.
Not enough room to swing a cat!
It was a pretty tight room in there!
Blimey I'd rather spend a weekend in Blackpool for my £50 🙄
It was pretty expensive for the price! There were cheaper options available
Compact hard to move just like being in an economy class on a plan😆 lol ha ha oh no.and no frills...they think they are doing you a favour but there not very acomadating needs a kitchen on every floor hot drinks microwave and toaster.🤦♀️🇦🇺
Its probably the tightest hotel room I've ever been in!
Kitchen in a hotel? 🤔
It's claustrophobic 😮
That was bloody awful, thanks for the video, I'll make sure I never stay in their cramped traps, rather sleep in my car!!
It was a pretty tight hotel room! Kind of like a plane cabin which is what they may have been going for
Looked fine to me, as long as you know what you are buying, and you get it cheap. I just watched another review of an Easy Hotel by Walk With Me TIm and he seemed to think the one he stayed was ok. They seem very similar to the Hubs by Premier Inn, which I've stayed in a couple of times, and like. TBH though, I think the Hubs are better. You get a smart TV with apps and movies to watch for a start. There's also pretty fast WiFi which is free. They have the same arrangement where there is no kettle in the room and you have to go downstairs to get a hot drink, but in their case it's free.
That is a horrendous room.
