Took this and got the pass a few months ago. I really enjoyed the course and the exam was challenging. I learned a lot and I think its a great primer to learning MA without just throwing yourself completely to the deep end of trying to understand assembly; instead it paces and builds you up to that point with a greater emphasis on recognizing what "Bad" looks like

Glad you guys are branching out and offering more certifications. Do you guys have any IR or threat hunting certifications in the works? Im looking to get certified in these areas in the near future but ill gladly hold off if TCM Security has any plans for such a certification

Will the course be refreshed with new techniques? I just bought and loving it so far.
It's better than SANS GREM course, Matt did an awsome job on teaching the basics to get into malware analysis with practical examples, at an affordable price even tho someone like me from india it is affordable ❤if they're choosing malware analysis as their carrear.

Hey TCM thanks for this certification ! I just have a quick question regarding the changes about the prices and the bundle. I already own the course, do I need to purchase again the training bundle or is the price will change after checkout ? Thanks !
Is this cert recognized by the government or other agencies guidelines? I’m curious about taking up on this course but I don’t know if it will be able to help me with my career path towards gov work
It's brand new, so not yet. Knowledge is what's important - there aren't a ton of certifications in the malware world.
What if the language barrier might be too onerous during the debrief?
Hi Heath, you said the closest thing to this exam was the GREM, but what about eCMAP from elearnsecurity? How does that compare in your opinion?
It would be great to know typically how many hours you'd need to invest into the exam excluding learning the course content, you have 5 days to complete but how many hours spent actually working on this are we looking at?
Everyone is different. What takes you an hour could take someone else three hours and vice versa. It's really hard to say how long it will take you or anyone else.

If the hard malware samples were partially analyzed, would you offer half marks like 75 out of 150 ?
