I'm listening (and watching) this material to myself and thinking to myself how lucky we were to have been touched by Procol Harum. Thanks to Brooker and Co. one has experienced many magical and wonderful moments in life. For some it's half a century, for others a little less, but no one can take those memories away from us. So, yes... any fan of any other band will say the same thing. But what can I say?
What a great sound quality! Hermann has made an effort. Heck, it's almost twenty years back. And I still have those two memorable days in my mind. For me, a special concert - although I won't say I haven't seen better or even brilliant ones. It's just that I finally scored live with “Something Magic,” which I had been dreaming about since 1992, and I also remember wondering what the hell is this “Sister Mary”? It made a big impression on me, something along the lines of a virgin experience - because here, unexpectedly like a meteorite, something new was revealed to us.
