Walrus took their very popular Julia chorus & vibrato and EVOLVED IT into a feature packed stereo chorus. The Julianna has so many features and tricks that I had to reshoot this thing like a dozen time because I kept forgetting them all.

Movin' to the country, gonna eat me a lot of peaches.
I love the art on it
Noodles and warbles!
Good to see you participating.... Are you well?
She’s back!
Julia 2: this time it’s personal
This sounds so good, it might be the next chorus I get.
I LOVE my Walrus Audio "Iron Horse" Distortion and I'm pretty sure I need this, guess they would complement each other pretty well. Great review!
Dude that Cyclone sounds sooo good
I love the cyclone. I might swap a pickup here and there at some point, but im loving it stock.
Great pedal! Now your just somebody that I use to know🎸🇵🇹🇺🇸
dude this is pretty sick, on the list, thanks for the in depth play on this pedal
Love the delicious outro, my man.
i'm glad you played the whacked out stuff, but a lot of us have trouble finding a straightforward chorus sound on the Julia because of the warble. The Lag function can be way overused. For those who want that lush sound, turn down the lag below 12 oclock. Good demo though and thanks for showing us its range.
LOVE this guys enthusiasm!
I got the Julianna because the artwork on the Julia freaked me out lol
That thing is pretty trippy!
Gnarly outro ...
he's going to have a similar cameo in my next video. his is pretty damn good.
@@60CycleHumcast Looking forward to it!
This plus a drippy spring reverb 👌
Love my TC stereo triple chorus modulator
Peaches!
Julia’s more expressive sister that Ery body wants to tap
The Dirty Juliana!
Me listening in mono: I don’t want to go into my settings right now.
This is the fourth video about this pedal that got uploaded today by youtube channels i'm subscribed to. Wtf?
It's a product launch.
I'd say the RUclipsrs had all done the video in their own time prior, but had the upload of the video embargoed by Walrus until launch day? (No use uploading a video about a new product and the manufacturer is not ready to sell them!)
Ozzy Pete that’s about how it works.
Lag is nothing else than delay time of the vibrato signal. Fully clockwise is fuller because the dry and vibrato are furthest apart. Counterclockwise gets glassy, and if you had an additional feedback knob, you would have a Flanger.
Cool pedal, I really am really happy with my DigiTech Nautila Chorus Flanger
Wonder how that would sound using it for vocals?
Don't tell us you are moving to the country! POTUSA!!!
Warbley Peaches 🍑
Nice review Ryan. i have finally come to terms with the fact that I don't like chorus.
Could you make a video comparing it with the boss Boss CE-2w Chorus?
I dont have one.
Was kind of expecting a Knobs moment but.... that’s not what I got lol
Is the clean sound that noisy?
Or is the noise sound that cleany?
Hey! What is that gold Flying V with the single coils?
thats a parts guitar I put together, Hondo body + Fender neck
$250 for jacks and switches that should have been included in the v2 Julia for much less.
The tap tempo along requires a ton of extra digital tools. That alone pops the price up. The new waveshape takes addition engineering and again, probably a bunch of new digital tools.
You don’t have to like the new price, but don’t act like it’s not justified. They gotta pay for that stuff, and so consumers do too.
So I know you don’t do “shoot outs” but now it’s this one vs the CE2 Waza vs Mr. Black vs ???
I dont have the ce2 or mr. black, sorry.
Vs. Blue Hippo
Sir Pulp - it’s not stereo, I should have said that
It's kind of fucked up that they released this when they just recently did the v2
Why?
$250 for a chorus pedal kinda wee bit ridiculous! Chorus is one of those effects that you can find cheap good options for! Allot "Designer" brand pedals these days that are just tweaked clones in pretty boxes...
🧠🔨
yes, and this channel proves that point over and over again. Since I discovered this channel, I don't have any intention to waste $250 for a 'boutique' pedal when I can get an amazing cheap one for less than $100
Stereo chorus, vibrato with a tap, three wave forms, a blend knob and sub divisions isn’t just a chorus pedal.
I just got it. Would or paid 3 for it. Got it for 249 Brand new and it totally kicks ass to the third.
But you get a fun Walrus pick in the box!
Don't hear the presidents very often

Strong "Cult" vibe
PEACHES!! yes
I'm a big Walrus fan, but $250 for a chorus is absurd. I'd say $150 tops, and even that's pushing it.
Buy it used. Just got one for $170.
The industry says 200$ is a fine low price, especially for boutique, so.
You can find a great chorus for 50 bucks. The prices are ridiculous.
Sure.
Great handmade in America high quality mixed digital/analog with tap tempo and custom American art and original engineering choruses? Because that’s what this is, not a Chinese knockoff of a 40 year old analog circuit.
Does all the same stuff right 🤦
I like your videos but I'm curious if your clownish demeanor is an act or are you naturally goofy? Either way, you look the part.
I’m all natural baby
Are you from 1950s eastern Europe?
@@entropybentwhistle Well, at home I have Iron curtains.
This guy does not know how to play guitar ... and, worse than that, he is SABOTAGING Walrus Julliana pedal by playing totally extreme sounds that 99,9% of guitar players would never use. It is a mean presentation ...
