Hi Sis, I have PCOS and I tried laser hair removal 10 yrs old. I think I had 12 sessions, and it's just starting to finely grow in now. Money well spent.

definitely laser. For waxing the hair has to be long enough to pull so you basically have to grow a full beard before your can remove it

I did professional Laser, and it worked for me for 3 years. It was so expensive I didn’t go back, so I ended up buying the at home laser. It worked well for me on the lowest setting because they didn’t make these things for dark skin. We need to invent our own gadgets smh.
I decided to turn up the setting for a better results and burnt the bottom of my face on both sides. Lots of burn marks by my jaw area & chin. Was losing my mind but found a product to help restore my skin. So far it’s been 3 months and the burn marks are finally fading… but I have some ways to go!🤦🏾‍♀️ Now I have no choice, but to pluck the hair with a tweezer.
      Hormone imbalance is something serious!!!!

I struggled with this for 40 years until I heard or rather was able to afford laser hair removal . This worked after the 1st 2 sessions . . . The grey/ white hair remained stubborn , grew back but thinner. I got rid of those with 2 sessions of electrolysis . Then I recently discovered a cream called eflornithine which is application to the problem areas daily . . . There are many other creams . Then there is spearmint tea which works to expel excess male hormones , androgens , testosterone . . . So it's this tea that I am now taking to keep everything in balance . . . I have used all these and I am happy to say that my face is hair free . . .

Hate the “just get laser/electrolysis” comments, it’s expensive and not everyone has the same experience. I went in for 5-6 laser remover treatments, while some of the hair is lighter/thinner, it overall hasn’t really stopped growth in and of itself. If someone has an interest in laser good for them, but it shouldn’t be treated as a 100% cure for hirsutism.
