Taeyeon is quiet and introverted. She may not be best friends with all these people but she's sweet and genuine as well as talented so I think they hold her in high regards even if they don't know her well

Indeed. I can tell for sure so many idols want to get to know her and be her friend, it's just difficult since she's introverted and therefore sticks to her SM bubble understandably. Instead they send their love by listening to her songs and showing the utmost respect when they meet her.
