i use the wash recipe i learned from miniature painters. add paint to acrylic paint medium(at any art and craft store), a drop of dish soap and plenty of water. i apply it very selectively in small amounts and there is no need to wipe it. even better is a light drybrush, then a wash, then another light drybrush in select areas. it takes a little patience but this will give a very dynamic effect
I'm going the extra mile on my figure by giving Skar ankle articulation, giving Shimu more articulation in his arms and legs , and making his tail slightly longer (still figuring out how to do that one?)
If you completely wash the shimo figure, you’ll be left with the black mainly under the scales instead of black spots in places that look strange, I’ve done it before and it makes it look so much better, and dry brushing would’ve made the tail look less blotchy if that makes sense, looks great though
You gotta do Doug my man,prob paint him white first tho bc he is like pitch black,great job by the way,the toys are good for what they are but do need a little touch up lol
I can get more of a glowing effect for Skar king by getting metallic ice blue and then put a white dot on top u should probably get another Skar figure and test it to see if u like it or not
