me and my buddies anthem...best friend is now a Marine...miss him but respect the hell outta him and he has inspired me to do the same....glad this is not a well known song. it means something to people. including my bros and myself. describes our last few months as civilians...wouldn't change a DAMN thing. glad others out there were like us. marlboro reds, busch light, and a Chevy S10. go on Brantley...go on US Marines...OORAH!
This reminds of my high school days, with all my friends this describes us to the key. We didn't care about anything but each other. I wouldn't mind going back in time to live them days again.
Wow what a cool kick ass song .This should be a number one hit for you. Brantley.God bless you and your family. Brantley your our outlaw , please stay safe out there.
reminds me of senior year country cruisin in an old van with all my buddies. we had a cooler with 4 30 packs of natty no seats in the back just lawn chairs gettin wasted. leanin out of that door to smach mailboxes with an aluminum bat was crazy. cant do that shit any more man. fun times class of 2007 PK.
when it started it was about 20 years ago in and out of Mexico and clubbing when clubs were open and fun now it's not even worth going to see what made me my olden roots are so pure and made with great heart....Fear of what dirt I've climbed the biggest tree and scuffed my knees many times and drank my first moonshine with my folks from the biggest mason jar ever....
this song reminds me of me and my buddies sneaking off school grounds during lunch drink couple beer or go muddin go back to school and dippin in school then after school jump in my truck find the nearest field go muddin and just raise hell in the small town i live in those where the good ole days i must say
luv bein in the bad news crowd......never not in trouble an the cops know our names numbers license plate #'s an addresses....................we r hell on our town but its fun. proud to be in it
Matt he is from my hometown of jefferson. I was raised here and so was he. He built him a house right down the road from me in maysville. We are about 30 mins from Athens, I drive past his house almost every day
I played this song to my buddies and they said "Well Goddamn doesn't that sound like us?" and all I could say was "Fuckin right! Would't change it neither!" We are always finding ways to bend rules and break laws. Worst mistake was dippin in social sudies class in 9th grade. And also probably the 2 30 racks of natty that we had in one of our trucks in 11th grade. We had the beer right in the truck during school and then went out to the old farm and drank em down back around a fire. Good times...
@KSTRINGER1972 me and my buddys used to get out the old 82 chevy truck 3 in the front bench seat with a 30 up there with them and 4 lawn chairs in the bed with the ice chest in a middle and two of us had bats ready to hit mailboxs on each side of the rode. all ended when we got called to court and our names in the paper. fun times sure do miss them
God I miss the days... getting drunk in the back of a truck cruising the country side. getting caught and running. damn it's hard to believe I'm almost 21. seems like yesterday we were all out getting in trouble
MAN this is me and my bros songs haha we did soooo much stupid crap and still do but ya know like he says we were proud to be in that group and wouldnt change it for anything im still only 16 but my bros are in their 20s and i can honestly say we wouldnt be the men we are today without doing stupid stuff!
We raised all kinds of hell when I was a kid. Back then if you were real young the cops took you home to let your parents sort you out (that was back when parents actually done that and it was expected of them). If you were older they just gave you a good cussin and told ya to take it outside city limits. They knew we were just kids being kids. Now they all take pride in locking kids up and they just about have to because the parents don't care. I look at my son now and it half scares me he is gonna try the crap I pulled and half sad because he won't be able to have near the fun we did. I remember big bon fires down at the river drunk as a skunk and the cops only showed up to make sure wasn't any of us driving. If we had to they would follow us home. Now the places like that are gated off and if cops show up its only to put people in handcuffs. The kids don't have anywhere they can go to cut up and just be kids.
sounds like some of the shit we do!!! show up to school drunk. bottle in our locker all year to sip on.. skipin class to go muddin.. yea we may grow old but we will never grow up.
@KSTRINGER1972 oh thank heaven for the class of 2007 LOL we had a chevy 1500 that we lined the tool box with foam and put ice and 3 cases of budweiser in and went road hunting ended up fly over more ditches and corn rows then killing coyotes unless we ran them over.... knocked a couple out with the door or a bat tho I LOVED being the bad news crowd REBEL BORN REBEL BRED WHEN I DIE ILL BE A REBEL DEAD
