Well, maybe in Real Steel they eased up on some of the rules regarding attacks in the ring that have to do with making your attacks more lethal, given the fact that robots are doing the fighting, and not humans.

Everything you see in Real Steel is practically illegal but nothing they do is illegal because they're robots. For instance:
Zerog has a built-in jetpack.
Dreadlord has a full out scythe.
Biowar has a gun arm.
Hallowjack has spinning hands that are also spiked maces.
Blacjac also has spinning arms operated by magnets.(which is why you hear clicking)
Metro has a very short left leg and a mallet hand.(he has to limp whenever he walks)
Twincities has 2 heads.
Fiend has spinning spiked hands.
Dark fiend has spinning spiked hands.
No-Joke has spiked gloves.
Drago has hidden claws that can pop out in clear view, not to mention he breaths fire.
Wildfire has a built-in flamethrower in his right hand.
Ronin has spiked hands.
Aztec has spiked hands.
Diablo has blades attached to his arms and has a fire lighting up his entire head.
Spectre has giant blades attached to his arms.
Asura has 4 arms.
Scorpion has a tail.
There may be more, but this is already a lot of robots in the game and the movie that has a lot of robots with built in weapons. Literally half of these robots are from the game. Outside the movie.

The fighter is never named in Super Punch-Out, He doesn't wear the tank top, Doc Louis is nowhere to be seen, and before the game's release there were screenshots in Nintendo Power that suggested Little Mac was actually going to be in, but I guess they just changed him before release.
Neither did he have a tank top in both versions of the original arcade punch out. Come to think of it I think that character's name is Dave. If not then it's Mac, then he sure as hell looks different.
To be fair though, It does say, if you win, that the winner is Mac. Also, The 2009 reboot was titled “Doc Louis’ Punch out”.

Again like last time good idea and stuff and parts in games rules. And seeing DK take Little Mac out when he lost is reference the old style he took Pauline from Mario from the mini Mario games. Plus Nintendo almost add Princess Peach in that game but they don't hit females and stuff. Again great work.
Honestly, I think the reason DK doesn’t seem to take his fight with little mac any kind of seriously is because…. Well, have you *SEEN* DK fight when he’s serious? Dude punches hard enough to cause explosions in Jungle Beat and has quite literally PUNCHED THE MOON OUT OF ORBIT. One serious punch from DK would render Little Mac a fine red mist before he could even BLINK.

Von Kaiser gets another one for being 42 (too old), Aran Ryan and Don Flamenco get another one each for personal branding (the shamrock and rose on their boxing shorts, respectively), Soda Popinski gets one for spilling soda on the ring (the last video only counted spilling it on himself as an infraction), and Little Mac gets two; one for personal branding (his name is on his boxing shorts) and one for punching Super Macho Man in the back of the head after the Super Macho Clothesline.

Also, Fighting donkey kong can actually kill you because he is technaclly a gorilla (not a silverback one, but still). if you guys don't know, those animals have a weight of 300 pounds of muscles, which means that if you fight one of them, your skull and your ribbcage are gonna be reduced to dust. And that's not even the only primate who is sronger than you because even the chimpanze can easily knock you out and even kill you if you are pissing him off too much.
