RAE I KNOW YOU'RE READING THE COMMENTS as someone who has watched every episode, I love yours and Lisa's differences. You're too hard on yourself!! It's okay that you're not a doc prepping girlie and Lisa is, because if every podcast host was exactly the same it would be boring! You both bring something different to the table and that's why it works so well. You and Lisa empower each other in different ways and it's awesome 💖 Some of the people I've worked the best with throughout my career have been so different to me and we were the ultimate teams!!! LOVING THE POD, LOVING THE CHEMISTRY, LOVING THE HONEST CONVOS THANK YOU FOR CREATING AND SHARING THIS WITH US ☀️💖
@@Ellminsterx If you're not into "woke" content or personalities, this probably isn't the community for you. We're POC & LGBTQ+ supporting, neurodivergent celebrating, pro-women and minority group snowflakes and that isn't gonna change 😇
@@EllminsterxI have so many comments about that comment lol but she said she worked 4 days, then had a rest day, then worked 4 days etc. For 90 days. Not that it took 4 days :)
What I love the most about this podcast is the effort that keeps being put into it. Lisa continuously thrives to be a good host and contribute regardless of who the guest is. Rae brings her spontaneity and she models the genuine different thoughts that spur in the moment. They balance each other and complement each other so beautifully and I genuinely appreciate the fact that they perfectly combine easy-going vibes with knowledge (Oh I didn’t know this and that). They care so much about this podcast and improving, they don’t ride off the fact that they’re famous faces and whatever they yap about will be enough.
OK IMMA SAY IT... THIS IS THE BEST PODCAST EVERRR MADE. I love everything about it, I leave every episode feeling like the best version of myself and wanting to be better and better. Me and my friends are obsessed, SO MUCH LOVE to the girlies form the queer community in Saudi Arabia.
Fellow mixed race person here: it's really really healing to hear you talk about the struggles you've all gone through with identity and belonging. Thank you for diving into these topics and bringing on the coolest guests! Your voices really matter
Yes it takes a lot of self discipline and mental preparation and effort to just dedicate this much time to just learn one skill. Also a lot of courage! Cause there’s always going to be “what if I fail?” Cause her goal is to succeed but she can also fail.
Michelle is a "one on one" person. Literally I've been inspired by this woman countless times, and I don't even speak the same language. She makes me want to try more things and listening to this podcast and hearing her talk like that, it really wows me. Thank you so much for this one you guys!
She’s a favorite creator of mine. I wait patiently for her videos to come out and appreciate everything that goes into them. She’s a great motivator and inspiration
1:10:55 ‘do you have an inner monologue?’ ‘I do.’ ‘Is it constant?’ this interaction reminded me of ‘have you every had Krispy Kreme? was it crispy?’ and i will be using that
Will Lisa be bringing her own guest? Pre-podcast I had never heard of Lisa so I'm so intrigued to get to learn about her end of the social crowd! Plus I LOVE the art community and am excited to find new artist to follow/support she may know. You girls are doing awesome!
im wondering how long this episode was filmed ago? like was this filmed 9 months ago and just released now because she has on the same exact outfit as in the yard episode
Her dedication to the challenge accepted videos definitely shows! Taking multiple months to learn a new craft or live a different lifestyle is crazy but super cool. Can’t wait to see what else she does in the new year🙌
Love this podcast so much, I am learning about all these amazing people. Watching this podcast is really inspiring, please never stop this lol. I really love when you guys have female guests, its really insipring and motivating. I learned so much abt Michelle Khare and shes so AWESOME she does so many things, and Im going to being watching all her stuff now. I also inlove with Alythuh's style, she is always eating with her outfits. Also I love alythuh's organization lol, I feel like it grounds the podcast, but the podcast is truly at its best when you guys are just being authentic and going with your flow, not everyone elses expectational flow for a podcast. I understand you guys read the comments and listen to improve, but just a reminder don't let it completely filter you guys :) you guys are amazing women who inspire me and other girls alike, I love raes yappin, dont stop lol, and this podcast is really enjoyable when you guys are unfiltered.

Just wanna say that I'n so glad I found Michelle Khare's RUclips channel and I'm so excited and happy with these worlds sort of colliding with Michelle being a guest in Press Esc which features Rae. I love how more comfortable Aly is now. I love this podcast
I didn't know Lisa took an interview class, but her prep and questions really shined (shone?) in this episode! And Rae, you're doing great!! We love your yapping and thanks for building a safe place to talk about things people dont really talk about. The dynamic between you two is a perfect balance to help the guest feel comfortable/keep the podcast comfy while also providing some real insight into these powerhouse creators I don't know much about. Love you all, great work everyone!
I knew of Michelle through other collabs she’s done but getting to learn more bts of her videos and life is great!! Gotta check out some of her videos now!
Rae! Don’t be too hard on yourself! You always do best when you are unfiltered and purely yourself! Don’t let the fear of offending the few people, even your friends. At the end of the day, friends and people alike won’t judge you for it because they know at the end of the day you are a genuine, sweet good person!! I hope you see this and put it to heart!! Thank you for all you do!!🩷🩷
This was such an amazing episode!! I watched some of Michelle's videos like a year or so ago and this was so cool to hear more about how all the Challenge Accepted videos work and some of the behind the scenes of it all.
I’ve been watching this podcast for a while now and this might have been one of my favorite episodes. It’s so amazing hearing Michelle’s story and the energy/vibes of this episode were top notch. Absolutely loved this!
Rae I want you to know you, Lisa and all employees are absolutely killing it. Normally anyone starting something new creatively takes awhile to get the pace right and adjust to it. I’m sure that you’re learning and growing but from an audience perspective this show seems really natural and seamlessly enjoyable to watch. I’m so impressed! Not that I expected bad content, it’s just really quickly comfortable to view and that’s an accomplishment! I didn’t expect to be so entertained right off the bat. I was hooked first ep! Even if I wasn’t already a fan I would have enjoyed it.
This podcast is part of my Monday morning routine where I listen to it while I start my workday and go through e-mails. I absolutely love the Press ESC podcast. Rae and Lisa are so open and honest and they put so much work into it. Lisa taking interview classes for instance and all the research both of you do to prepare for every guest. Thank you guys for this amazing podcast! I absolutely enjoy it and I look forward to it every week!

Great episode! I’ve known who Michelle was through buzzfeed but never really followed her content. But wow she seems so interesting! I love the way she speaks. Also, Lisa taking interview classes is so adorable haha.

I have wanted to stream and post on YT but Ive procrastinated for like 5 years. Im scared of putting myself out there because in school I could always tell people saw me differently than a normal person because of my disorder and Im scared of social interactions and scared of what people think of me. I just want to be seen like a human and taken seriously but its hard when parents dont trust me to take care of myself and when people feel bad for me or see me different. But seeing this episode Im gonna just say fuck it and put myself out there and stream for the fun of it and not worry what people think. Im gonna just do it for me, and help others like me along the way and let them know they are not alone. :)

On the topic of religion and death/afterlife I've been contemplating a lot about whether or not I'm agnostic still (especially since I just considered that I do believe in spirits/miracles so I must believe in some form of an afterlife, anyway), however, I recently rewatched episode 3 (season 1) of Midnight Gospel (if you haven't watched it I HIGHLY recommend it!!!) and it's a discussion about the process of developing an astral body. We have two types of deaths: physical and one that unveils our solar/astral body. Once that solar body is developed, the consciousness can be preserved and moved between the physical and metaphysical realms apparently. Such a wild concept I've decided to dedicate some energy and time into learning soon, but I figured you ladies would appreciate it and might enjoy the lesson to some degree. Love everything about this podcast and you two ladies!
