The craftsman RP impact driver review. It feels very oddly similar to Dewalt! Well that’s for good reason since they are made by the same folks over at Stanley black and decker.
Thanks for the reminder. My local lowes is awful about warranty in broken hand tools. The mac truck isnt much better. Cordless tools are the only thing I have "brand loyalty " with. Milwaukee just has too many tools with an incredible warranty to buy into another ecosystem.
Yea I haven’t had great luck with warranty’s at Lowe’s either. It doesn’t make sense for the majority of people to have so many different battery platforms. I just like power tools🤷♂️
@Kaleb_RoSs my only brand loyalty is milwaukee cordless stuff. Other than that, I have tools from everyone. Trucks, vim, sunex, gearwrench, tekton, lisle, harbor freight, crescent, knipex, irwin... Zero brand loyalty. If I need it now, I buy it wherever I can. Otherwise, I try to find stuff on sale, used, whatever.
@@Kaleb_RoSs I thought about doing a comparison. I have the 787, and I actually really like it. The lower power and speed make it great for driving Phillips screws.
Never cared about speed really fraction of seconds for that much more cash is a bill I can't afford and my Lowes has never gave me any lip from returns or money back take a picture of purchase and save in a file so I have proof of purchase and bam no problems you loose the receipt your screwed because it done save them to your phone number like they want you to believe it's a gimmick
I think the made in usa with global material impact is better and rebranded brushless rp is weaker than the usa made even tho both have same specs on box take hammer drill usa is metal Chuck rp is platic but rp stops in a hole saw cut every time old usa made one non rp does it with out stops and they just seem they made them a lottle to strong and rebraanded them rp and tunes them down
@@Kaleb_RoSs yea black and decker is destroying craftsmen they keep changing there minds on what it going to be started out porter cable clone then USA made way better than any made then they went to old DeWalt tools with upgraded components with USA made then rp came and guess they thought DeWalt needed there attention and left craftsmen in auto drive making worse version of previous better tools make no sense to keep changing there minds on what craftsmen is and going to be

If that impact driver is rated at 1500 inch pounds, it’s a red Dewalt DCF787.

Them as well yea. Lot of craftsman and porter cable are literally exactly the same just different color.

Yea the USA version has Tri LED lights and modes as well.
