Hank senior is the best that ever lived. I listened to him growing up. Along with other country singers. Country music is my kind of music. It's what i listened to growing up and still til this day i listen to it. Alots changed since the old days. Outlaw country still rocks but the music part of it is different from how it was before

I don't know if your familiar with Cody Jinks, Tyler Childers or NuBreed . They are absolutely phenomenal. As soon as they get within 500 miles of me I'm going. I wish they all came at once, Like Woodstock. The ticket $$$$ wouldn't matter to me. And NO I AM NOT Joking. I can guesstimate how many but I'd be low. We went to different states to see our favs.

This song has always been one of my favorites by Hank Jr. I came up on Classic Rock but you can put on some Bochephus any time and you will hear no complaining from me. Mix a little Waylon in there with it and that is two loads of talent that is tough to beat.
I grew up with this music and I still listen to it more than ever....every since my dad died. I think back to wanting to listen to rap in the car and he'd say, "Turn that shit off!" ha ha he was funny about it. But now that he's gone....and death is so permanent.....I listen to country again because I miss my dad and I miss how my life was before he died.......if that makes sense. I do love all music though but Hank Jr is my favorite and I met him in Dallas at Country fest when my cousin gave me back stage passes....that was so cool!

It always seems that to become successful at anything; you Have to find your own voice, you must at all cost be yourself. Never sugarcoat it. Hank jr. Did just that....not to many kids of Legends become legendary themselves. Very rare.
I saw him three or four times back during this period. The Montana café record came out when I was a senior in high school. The sound at his shows was so clean and loud it was like I had found my permanent home. My buddy in high school took the letters off the tailgate of his pick up and changed. them so that when he raised the tailgate up it said Hank. Truly great days and I saw Stevie Ray Vaughan about that same time
I used to think I didn't like country music, but I learned all the stories the songs tell. Now I love it I discovered K Kristoferson first & then fell in love with your music. I've been a country fan for 50 yrs!
Hank Jr. was the first real concert I went to in Daytona Bch. Ocean Center 1983, 12 yrs old and to this day is one of the best concerts I ever been to and regret never seeing him again. Hank Jr. & Merle Hag. 💯
