I wasn't singing bc I didn't wanna be loud af in the video I was recording but It was so hard for me not to sing along to my fave song 😭 She was living her best life tho. Let her live, it's a concert, a lot of people were singing it's just that she was directly next to me so she sounds hella loud lol. People sing at concerts it's nbd.
@@turnttaco7661 In the US, maybe. In other places, we go to concerts because we want to listen to the musicians, not the audience. We don't sing (no that loud at least) except when they request it. It's a matter of basic respect.

Performers even point the mic to the crowd to get them to be louder, lol. It's awkward when everyone's just standing around. Melinda Mercier doesn’t change the fact it’s mumbling. Even with poor audio I can generally tell the difference between a performer bringing down his or her voice. I’m not saying it was bad just that he had to tone it down
The difference is in the instruments, the mic levels and the back up vocals to harmonise with him which he doesn’t have here take all that away still a fantastic performance

Yeah people need to chill, singing at a Broadway show isn't ok, but a concert is a different experience and is definitely the norm.
