Taken from a livestream of the Outsider Art Fair discussion panel on February 27th, where David was one of the guest speakers.
David misunderstood part of the subject, which resulted in him making a mini presentation as part of the talk. He presents questions on why do we create, why do we share (or don't share) our work, and questioning if we make art as a better way of understanding ourselves, or our place in the world. It was a wonderful bonus in my opinion, so I thought I’d share his presentation.

Art is expression and emotion on canvas or in song and is so beautifully individual to each artist.... it leaves a footprint on this earth for all of us to enjoy throughout the ages. A God's wink of anointing to those who are lucky to have received it.

An high school art teacher once brought to my front door 6'X5' ft. blank canvas for my son now 35 to paint an art project, it took him months to complete and was placed in the school lunch room for many years...not sure if it's still there but he uses his talent now in architecture.
