I like the idea of the WIP wall, maybe I need to organise my WIPS like that. I think a 6 month CAL would be good but honestly I would be happy with whatever you decide. Take care
Hi Judy 🤗 you’ve had an awesome year! 👏🏻👏🏻 Your CAL sounds like fun! Hmm 🤔 12 signs…one per fortnight = about 6 months…I look forward to hanging out with you in 2025! 🎉🥰🧶🤩
Oh Judy, what a lovely chat and then I got to your dye section and I got goosebumps, how lovely, I really hope you will enjoy your dyeing yarn, it’s alot of fun 😁😁😁 Thankyou so much for the mention, I plan on dyeing some more yarn again soon 👍🏼. I love your WIP wall, it’s a great idea 👏🏽👏🏽
I really enjoyed your review of 2024 & what's happening in 2025 for you! I chuckled about your guys getting you organized with your WIPs & giving a stipulated maximum of 12 + a blanket!! I've love for my guys to be more involved with my creations! I love the idea of your MAL for next year & I'm happy with either 3 or 6 months.... whatever is the biggest vote. I really like the idea of keeping track of donations to charity. I think I donate most of what I crochet & gift a couple of items & sell a few. I use what I make on Etsy for buying yarn or things related to what I make, but most of that then gets donated. My house is too full of crocheted items to keep them & I have more shawls than I'll ever wear!! I'm about to look at my goals from last year & I suspect I may join you with having less goals as I've barely looked at them this year. I may continue to join in with Terri at YarnJoy's FIF (Finish it Fridays) where she picks a project (WIP) from a container as a lucky dip. I think I'll also put my "wanna make" items in another container to pick from with 1 container for winter & 1 for summer to choose items to make.... not sure! Oops this was an essay!! LOL! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Hi Judy! Your boys are so thoughtful and I love that they get involved in your crafting. The WIP wall is a wonderful idea! I am really looking forward to seeing what you’ll be up to in 2025! I’m game for anything! ❤
I love how organized you are with projects. Sometimes I am but other times I think, I can squeeze in this project and then stress a bit about finishing on time. I'm definitely planning more projects that are small for this summer when it's too hot to make large projects here in Florida. I love your CAL and am undecided about the timing. For one, I like the idea of having a month to complete the section of my project instead of two weeks. However this year I will be busy in April and May and I'm thinking maybe doing the CAL in January, February and March would fit in better for me to get it completed. I am planning a Japanese knot bag and I'm thinking since I plan to line it I may just keep the ends as is and not weave them in because they'll be between the inside of the crochet and the lining and not visible. I'd use SC and make sure my knots are strong. So I guess after pondering it I'll vote twice a month for the first three months but honestly I'll be doing it even if it's once a month for six months. I hope you have a very Happy New Year and either way I'm guessing we'll see you the beginning of January for the start of the CAL. I'm anxious to see how the dyeing works. Have fun with that!!! Prayers, love and hugs my very dear friend. 🙏🧡🤗
Hi Judy I only do your and Litsa make alongs but I didn’t do Litsa last year only yours I enjoy the ideas you come up with I would like a 6 month one. And yes retire I have been retired for 5 years and love it the only downside time goes so quick lol 😊
Hi Judy, What a great recap of 2024. Looking forward to 2025. Would love to see your yarn that you dye. I take part of my craft fair earnings and donate it to my local animal shelters. I'm thinking a 3 month CAL would work but whatever you decide I'm going to try to participate.
You really have been prolific with all of your makes- and I do admire all of your charitable efforts. I am really looking forward to your make along this year because I have not done the last couple. I think you're always creative with your ideas and I would welcome a three month make along because I don't know if I can commit further based on my life. lol😅. Thank you for taking the time to do all the sharing. It does help my creative juices flow for sure. Do stay well and safe❤. BTW. Hopefully, this will be my year because my Chinese astrological sign happens to be the snake. 🐍
This was really interesting hearing about all the projects you did for 2024 and what you may be doing for 2025. I will go with the majority for the MAL. I am concentrating on using the yarn I have and hopefully not buying any more yarn. Hope you have a wonderful New Year's!
Judy, you always come up with such original ideas for MALs that challenge our imagination and creativity. I like the idea of once a month for 3 months. Hope 2025 is a great year for you. I highly recommend retirement - best career move I’ve made.
Good to see you focusing more on yourself. I personally decided to stick to 1 channel cals as it becomes so overwhelming. Obviously it’s your channel. 😊❤ I detest AI and it’s not as good as everyone thinks. Another channel paid for a couple of AI patterns and they’re a total scam. My 2025 resolution is no spending and declutterring by using, finish my puzzle books, use my yarn for charity etc🎉
Love the idea of the make along 3 months would be good.
