I've had my eye on a similar selfie drone in the past. I didn't know DJI released one, I suppose it was only a matter of time. Is fun seeing your take on it. It honestly looks pretty cool.
I've long desired a drone for days out on the motorbike, not for tracking shots, just for location shots. The Neo being robust and, most importantly, inexpensive might be just the job. My main concern would be it's resistance to wind so if you could investigate that Steve it would be of interest to me and, I suspect, others.
It's fine in a light breeze, but struggles with anything fresher. If it's windy enough for you to notice it as 'wind' then it's too much for the Neo. I'll do more testing on this.
@ thanks Steve. Given that I'll probably want to use it when riding in the Peak District, Lake District and other elevated or exposed locations the Neo is probably not for me... Maybe the Flip would be a good compromise between the Neo and the much more capable but much more expensive Mini
I think you could improve your drone video presentation dramatically by adding a Bluetooth microphone. Then both your hands will be in a more natural position.
@@stevelitchfield When you're demonstrating the phone control in a later video 🙂, a bluetooth mic would probably be good. Airpods or similar would probably do the trick if you want to keep minimalist and inexpensive. I've seen a few mentions of the neo and that is one I'd probably pick up given it is inexpensive.
Nice! Always a treat to get another "mini series" from you, Steve. The drone looks like it's a lot of fun.
Total novice and this Neo caught my eye. Great stuff, thank you. Ady☮️

I see where you are going with the drone now.

Ah, that intro music…..

Yes, I might experiment with this - though it does mean one more bit of kit to set up. I was trying to be minimalist!
Surely a small clip on microphone...@@stevelitchfield
...will only need to be paired once?@@stevelitchfield
