    Watched this video three time s already....redo on Chem and Organic Chem. This video is my " Holy Grail" from this point on until I accomplish my goal of completing CRNA school. Excellent blueprint for someone who's been out of school for a while. Definitely using all of your techniques. Wish me luck in boosting my GPA . God bless you for being the best CRNA counselor ever. Thanks for your time and energy. You're a great Mentor!!!

    That's something I was struggling with, how to learn as opposed to just memorizing. This helps but I still need to figure out the difference.

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  7 лет назад +2

      Yes, once you figure out how you learn best.. things start to make sense and you can then apply the knowledge.

    How do you find balance? Do you have a family/ children? You seem to balance very well finding time to make videos and answer questions. Pretty Awesome!

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  7 лет назад +4

      I am not feeling so balanced at the moment ha. When ever I don't feel like studying, I will make a video. And I don't worry about it because I don't feel like I wasted my time.

      You are handling things very well and I enjoy your videos. Keep them coming if you have the time. I hope to be accepted into CRNA school soon. Fingers crossed. My packet is in. If all works out I will begin next summer. :)

    Hey I do not really like chemistry. Do you enjoy chemistry? For someone thinking of doing anesthesia do you think that person would be more successful if they enjoy chemistry? Thanks!

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  7 лет назад +1

      Now that I am seeing how it applies to anesthesia, I really do enjoy it. It is so much for the functional groups. We need to understand why a drug works the way it does. Even the processes in our body (like how we convert CO2 into water) revolve around chemistry

    Hey I'm Immanuel, And I just had a question my BSN nursing program doesn't require us to take any chemistry or biology classes and I was wanting to know of you would insist on me taking it anyways to better prepare me for CRNA school?

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  7 лет назад

      My school requires chemistry and statistics in undergrad. So that depends on what the school you want to apply to- requires. I wouldn't leave it off of your transcript it it is required.

    • @dggarcia89
      @dggarcia89 6 лет назад

      Most CRNA schools require chemistry all the way to o chem

    hi, Do you work while you are in school? Do you think it is possible to only work on a Saturday and still be successful in school?

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  7 лет назад

      I think someone MAY be successful working on Saturdays only... but I know that I needed many Saturdays to study.

    Thanks for the info! Would you say CRNA school is a lot harder than RN school?

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  7 лет назад

      YES, not because the material is harder per say, but everything is just learned on a MUCH deeper level that requires a new type of learning (in my opinion, based on my school)

    Are the science classes very advanced or are they similar to the pre reqs for nursing school?

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  6 лет назад

      These classes are much more advanced than anything you'd see as nursing school, let alone a pre req. Honesty doesn't really compare.

    Tip numero uno, don’t waste your time handwriting notes… grad school baby.. learn to type.. can type 4 times faster than handwriting.. left out chirality is on a Carbon compound which is technically an enantiomers that make up a race mix mixture.. get way more detail typing.. the kids who hand write and draw are the kids that fail.. professor are spouting 10,000 plus words per lecture.. not drawing pics and highlighting 😂

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  9 месяцев назад +1

      My professors actually taught. And something I preach is learning how you learn best. I obviously didn't fail. Please don't blanket make statements. I would have failed trying to conform to digital methods

    How long do u study per day? Per week?

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  7 лет назад +1

      That varies based on the material and what I have coming up. For tests I can study up to 10 hrs if need be. I study until I feel like I have a firm enough grasp

  • @zeezeebo

    What’s the requirements of getting into the program? How hard is it to get in the program?

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  6 лет назад

      Each school has varying requirements. That is up to you to research. And what do you mean by "how hard"? I don't know how to answer that question. Did I have to apply multiple times? How many people applied?

  • @thomastyner6453

    I learned that stuff in Undergrad, Depolarization open Na voltage-gated channels, Repolarization closes Na make VM more negative because the K+ diffuse out of the cell. You must reach threshold for this to occur.
    You didn't learn that in undergrad? I don't think Crna school will be hard for me.

    • @AishaCRNA
      @AishaCRNA  7 лет назад +25

      I learned a lot in undergrad. I have learned even more in CRNA school. But I do not feel the need to brag or put my education on display. This page is here to share information with those that may not know. I wish you luck in your CRNA interview with your attitude.
