Im a fan of muscle cars and sports cars but I like trucks even more and seeing that 90s Chevy makes me happy, reminds me of the Yosemite from GTA San Andreas looks pretty similar from the back
One detail that's I like are the window stickers seen on some of the cars.
Does this mean we get to put our own window stickers??

I'll be honest, I was being a bit dramatic at the time because I was so tired lol. But yeah, after researching, doing multiple takes of the recording, finding all of the relevant car pictures, and editing, it did take quite a long time to make. Still worth it though, I had to get out my excitement for this game somehow :)

Im guessing, like the gta 5 trailer using cars from gta 4, most of these are placeholders vehicles. I doubt rockstars would have 90% used cars on the most expected game for 10 years!

Thanks for watching man! As for the cars, people are forgetting that although they're "recycled", they're gonna be totally revamped in GTA 6. The trailer showed us that most of these cars have refreshed models, extremely detailed interiors, and insane levels of customization. All of that, combined with revised handling physics, means that they'll all feel like totally new cars, despite technically being recycled.
@@StevieWunderKid oh, yeah that is true!! And to he honest we still haven't seen much of the country area. I imagine theres a ton more older and beat up vehicles there

I’m hoping they’ll give us a decent track for us to go to in single player and just do laps or even a race event in our custom cars.
That would be amazing - based on the map leaks it looks like there will be a racetrack of some sort, so that's definitely got me excited!

The Tulip was one of my favorite muscle cars in GTA V so I'm glad it's returning and having a bigger role in the game
I think the police SUV at 17:30 might be a new variant of the Dodge Durango that police use now
wanted to buy a tulip and a zorrusso since theyre the 2 cars Jason and Lucia use here, but they were BOTH removed from the websites in the last update...
9:19 that yellow and white car looks to me a 1957 buick roadmaster, or a buick special
Damn it does look pretty close to that, good catch! Based off of what I've learned since making this video, that car will be called the Oceanic, and it was featured in the original GTA: VC.
4:51 looks to be an grey obey based off an Audi rs6/7? as well in the background
Yup, that's either an Omnis E-GT from GTA 5 or a totally new Obey vehicle - completely missed that one, good catch!
in the shot with the cheetah classic, the old classic car youre referring to as "never seen before" is the declasse tornado from the original vice city/gta v

According to Google, the Declasse Tornado didn't even appear in GTA until San Andreas. I believe you mean the Oceanic, based on @benjismith593 's comment. It's been said this particular car from the trailer is based on the 1955 Oldsmobile 88 that is parked outside the Avalon Hotel in Miami. Which would make sense since, at least according to the GTA fandom wiki, the Oceanic's two tone paint scheme was based on the 88. At the very least, if it was a Tornado, they have definitely revamped it because the front looks less scrunched up (more like it appeared in SA) and the side chrome trim is more dramatic, dipping down and back up rather than a flat line. I sure hope they are either bringing back the Oceanic in a more cohesive form, bringing a new classic car, or they are at least remodelling the Tornado because I never could fully like the Tornado's design in GTA 5. Honestly, the more classic cars the better. Especially nice looking ones like the Oldsmobile 88.

Hell yeah bro, awesome video, and this gives me high hopes for the car culture side of GTA 6...It does make me scared of the police though if they have a Hellfire and STX
It was 2:30AM for me lol, but the final product was definitely worth it - was surprised Rockstar showed off so much of the car culture even in the first trailer, excited for future teasers that'll reveal even more. As for the cops, I'm fine with it, as long as it's not NFS Heat levels of difficulty lmao
We may get Licence cars also that will be awesome 💯👌 🙂.

How? there’s plenty of 2013 cars on the road in real life… as I type this I’m looking at a 2007-2012 Lexus
Personally i dont like the amount of recycled traffic cars i wish they used more new cars instead of the old 2013 out dated ones
But cars like the culinan, porsche 992, 812 SF, Amg gt are all cars in gta 5 but are still popular and would be useless to remake instead of just copying them, i do agree with the og gta 4/5 cars like the banshee and stuff. But i think they will save the cooler cars for the official trailer or gameplay trailer.

The cars are gonna be the same we've got with updated interiors, which was a huge complaint even with GTA Online.

In the takeover scene of the trailer if you look to the left, their ks a white/gray car which seems to resemble the nissan silva. It looks like the s15 front and s14 rear. If this is true im loving it
Unfortunately it's not either of those cars. It's the Vapid Dominator ASP, which I've shown at 10:41.

Very good point, could be a Declasse police SUV of some sort. I guess I was too focused on all of the other Ford / Dodge police vehicles we had seen elsewhere.

Ofc they will use cars already in gta 5 because they kinda have every car in the game from real life but I wish the traffic was more mix of newer and older cars, they need to make newer model versions of traffic not just ones from 2013, its been 10 years since cars got more modern.
I honestly hope the put more upgrades to vehicles like lift kits and different tires not just like the off-road tire or sport tire like other things and I hope like they add a thing so like when u get ur strength up in the game u actually get bigger
And maybe also like jobs like police or mechanic or fire fighter or stuff like that

Yeah that's my bad, I was way too focused on all of the modified cars on the right. You're right though, definitely supposed to be some sort of Audi-inspired vehicle, maybe something like the existing 8F Drafter or Omnis E-GT. Either that, or it could be a totally new addition based on the Audi RS6!

really hoping theres more aussie based cars. the police cruiser was the closest thing to a ford falcon in gta 5 and you couldnt customize it
Based on the setting of the game, I really don't think there will be that many Aussie cars man. But who knows, Rockstar's added some quirky European and JDM cars into GTA Online so it's always a possibility!

Very very true! The smoke density does look way better, both in that shot and the one later on where Jason & Lucia slide around a corner in their Tulip!

I can very much agree! Hoping that gta 6 brings in a ton generic of vehicles to make Vice city or the game itself more believable. Which is why i prefer 4 in terms of what vehicles there are (which im hoping they revive most of them), instead of doubling down on flashy sports cars or huge suvs. And what could be a nice feature is that cars would spawn in different conditions like some are rusted or dented up like in real life but not sure if they plan on adding that.

at 20:18 that cop car is not the same, it could be a new gen of the GTA 5 version tho, in the clip it looks like a 2016 ford Taurus while in GTA 5 it was a 2013 ford taurus.

Given that the game is pretty late in development, I don't think any of these cars are placeholders. Besides, if they were, why would Rockstar go back to update their models? Looks like everything from wheels, interiors, and even exteriors have been completely refreshed, so I doubt they'd let all that effort go to waste.

Only the cop car in the gta 5 trailer was a place holder. They just changed it because the taurus cop car was it’s replacement with the crown vic only being in counties with less money. The remodel was probably also just done to make it more accurate.

It's actually a 1970 Ford Ranchero given that it's a pickup truck, but it basically has a Torino front so you were on the right track!

None of the vehicles in GTA 6 will be real/licensed, they will all be mashups of different IRL cars like they've always been. I kinda prefer it that way.
The Pinnacle is actually the Nissan Maxima. Even better
Good call, that was my mistake. Still hard to place that Pinnacle-looking car in the trailer though, looks like a mix of a bunch of different economy sedans.

Agreed, I mean it makes sense from a development perspective. But also, it looks like Rockstar added a ton of detail to car interiors and refreshed most of the models, so I think it will be a welcome change. That, combined with even more customization and revised physics, I honestly don't mind that we're getting a lot of "recycled" cars!

Rockstar has never licensed any cars for their games, and they never will. Wouldn't fit the lore, and companies don't want their cars associated with crimes/violence.
Why cant they just use real brands like all other games? Much smaller studios manage it... not sure... does anyone know?
8:23 first the Granger isnt a Chevy Suburban its a Ford Excursion. Most people don't know but the Ford Excursion is the biggest SUV ever made. The Granger is not a Chevy but a Ford Excursion.
I know what an Excursion is, and it's not what the Granger is based on lol. The Granger is pretty obviously a Suburban, look at how similar the two are. Plus, it's a Declasse vehicle, not Vapid.
@@StevieWunderKid I did look at it the Grille doesn't match the Chevy Suburban and was never that long in body length. And I base my results on my dad owning one. And watching a raid of a Meth house. Blue Bloods the Commissioner uses a Ford Excursion. Chevy Suburbans were never had that space and the grille matches that of a Excursion. And the excursion had a bigger engine and maybe the newer version but GTA 5 they were Fords.
@@StevieWunderKid the Granger is based on what Police use for Raids and running boards. The grille is a Chevy but the body style and lenght are Ford Excursion. It's the longest SVU and and fit 10 people in the car vs the CHEVY TAHOE.
great so they pulled cars from gta 5 and dumped them into gta 6.I really hope thats for just the trailer...
Keep in mind that these recycled cars will have all new interiors, insane customization (based on what we saw in the leaks), and totally overhauled physics. I don't think anything was a placeholder for the sake of the trailer given that the game is almost done. And besides, the cars in the trailer probably represents a very small fraction of what we're getting with the final game and all of the following DLCs. I honestly don't mind seeing a lot of familiar cars knowing how much their overall quality is going to increase.

I've made a separate video addressing this - Rockstar's doing it for continuity and because they already have the vehicle models completed.

I just want Online to be playable from Day 1. I don't care about a GTA Story. It just isn't what I expect from a game about crime. And I hope they wont stop bringing stuff to PC. I still want HSW.
Rockstar's said a few times that they will have a bigger focus on single player in GTA 6 than they did in 5, but I don't think that'll impact anything with the next version of GTA Online. And it seems they've got something against PC, not sure why, here's hoping they add the next-gen console content soon.

Annoying they don't use the real world cars...some of the gta5 cars were mix between ferrari and porsche....
Rockstar has never licensed any real-world cars for any GTA game, both because it's cheaper and major automakers don't want their cars associated with crimes.

To be fair tho GTA Online has a lotta cars that don't show up in storymode free roam so it's cool to see em finally out on the street.

I know some of these manufacturers probably do not wish to have them for the fact that its such a drug, violent, fueled game but sheesh the only graphics thay got better is people and hair.
