I'm a novice in electronics and any stumbling blocks I've encountered so far have invariably been due to people (people who work in electronics shops) assuming that anyone with such an interest should have a firm understanding of the language of electronics to begin with - and not much caring if they don't. I liken it to music store staff talking at, down to, or over the inexperienced customer in a steady stream of jargon. It's almost like trying to break into the inner circle of some archaic boys club. Thankfully, lessons at element14 aren't like that at all. I found this channel only 24 hours ago and already I'm more informed, aware, and confident than I was after a month of traipsing around scary electronics stores! Thank you Karen - you're a (really nice) legend! :-)
I’m currently in the process of working my way through the videos. I’m a noob… hardcore, but I feel it would be beneficial having a series of videos going through schematics and then putting it on a breadboard to then solder to a PCB, like the whole process. Anyway, awesome videos and thank you for the help!
This is a great overview of the various symbols. Very helpful for when you're looking at a schematic that contains components you don't typically use. And thank you for explaining the ANSI and ICE symbol difference. I've seen both styles of symbol for resistors I the past but didn't realize they were part of different standards.
Hello i need your help to build a cdi box for my motorcycle i have the old one i can send a picture i don't know how to read it let me know what you think about it thanks
So that it starts with the oldest or the most recent? The subjects are fairly linear, and the concepts stack, so they are best watched in order of release.

I am totally addicted to watching your videos !

Good overview of circuit symbols. Thank you.
At 4:25 I think the switch 3PST is not a Triple Pole Double Throw but a Triple Pole Single Throw.
Hi Karen! Loving the videos from Perth. Western Australia.
What is the best simulation tool
for beginners?

Do you have a link to a quick reference card on the components in a circuit
I love these so much... Thank you.
This is a pretty good overview. Can you do one that delves more into power single line diagrams?
In next week's episode, I take a schematic and show how to make it into a real circuit. It should cover that.
Hello Karen I love your chanel. And your materials Thank you very much indeed you're great lady
I don't think I will ever learn schematics but I will try my best to learn schematics thank you this must really scramble your brain
There is an error at 4:51, both P and N jfet transistors have the same symbol.
So indept refresher course for me best wishes from pakistan
Buen día colega excelente vídeo Argentina presente.
Thank you for the great video.
Aslmlkm puan, mcm mne keadaan puan skrg?
So did Felix leave? Haven't seen content from him in a while.
I don't think so.
Great video!
Thanks, Karen!
Awsome&Well Explaned :D maby do a video on the 555 timer to get 1 or more Led blinking and adjusting the time? :D
can you PLEASE reverse the playlist order for this series?

@@maker_karen1785 it should play oldest to newest. it currently plays in newest to oldest order.
Depending on where in the world the circuit diagrams was created can decide what symbols are used for each part.
Exactly!
Nice video . Thanks
I want to learn about......
this is gold
👍🏻
i love you👂👂👂👂🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿
Those sweater puppets...
I haven't really enjoyed this channel since Ben Heck left..
