Trikafta is a new (2019) breakthrough medication made by Vertex Pharmaceuticals that targets the CFTR Protein defects in Cystic Fibrosis patients. It has been said it has the capability to totally change the lifestyle of CF patients. The CF community has waited a long time for such a medication to arrive.

My son has been on this medication for about a year, he's gained quite a bit of weight about 20 lbs and hasn't had any antibiotics in that time. Glad to see you are doing well!
