When I've got it I've made my goal to make it run Android 13, but there was a big problem blocking me from doing that, and that was the infamous Google lock. I've tried many tutorials on how I should bypass it, to no result. Not even those random tutorial Indian guys couldn't help me, but then I've remembered you've also made some of these tutorials a while back (I knew of you because I'm a huge fan. I always watch your videos with cheapo phones from Wish!) and it seems it actually fully works! I wonder how it wasn't the top result! I'll announce you if I manage to run LineageOS with Android 13 on it!
If your trying to hard reset it and the green man comes up and says no command. Try pressing both power and volume up botton both at the same time at least once or twice.

If you have a Sim Card in the device - take it out. Because it shouldn't be asking for any Pin codes or anything. Otherwise it may not work on your model. It's only meant for the Alcatel U5/Australian (Optus) variant. Give it another go and see what happens!
I am not too sure. Since Optus disables some frequencies for their phones, maybe flashing a normal firmware may unlock them. But as I said, can't be sure. The stock Optus apps are just absolute bloatware.
Do you have an Optus X Spirit phone or is it a stock Alcatel U5? Because this tutorial may not work on the normal U5 devices as they have improved firmware than the Optus one. Try factory resetting the phone and try again to see if that might solve anything also.
If its not Optus branded, it likely won't work because there are different methods for the Global U5 device. Also you may have a newer security update that is stopping it. Thats the only help I can give. Otherwise keep trying!
I got as far as the set up device owner.i tapped next, on the next page instead of saying setup it says encrypt so i tapped encrypt and it says please charge your battery and try again. So im charging the battery as i write this comment. Btw the phone i have is the optus x smart Alcatel Model 5056l

There is a lot of tutorials on RUclips on how to do that. Basically its downgrading the OS or using Factory Binary OS to bypass the FRP.
