So very sorry it's taken me so long to stumble on this (I am subscribed but had kinda lost track). I LOVED your Band of Brother's reaction. The Pacific is good. But I don't feel quite as good as BoB. I just didn't find anyone to connect to like I did with the men of Easy Co. Also...there is the "3rd" part of the Hanks/Speilberg war series trilogy starting on Jan 26th on Apple TV. It's called Masters of the Air and will follow the exploits of a division in the 8th Army AirCorp. I loved BoB, but as a true aviation junky I'm really looking forward to Masters of the Air.
Finally, thank you for such a candid "chat". I could see your "comfort" grow through each episode of BoB. You Did Great! I look forward to watching you react as we go into the future. May Peace always be yours.

From the time i was 17 yrs old every Jan at the Battle of the Bulge Reenactment in Fort Indiantown GAP, PA with E/ 506th living history unit we had almost all the org. Troopers with us (along with Troopers from other Airborne units) in our Barrack's and at the public battle. it was this event were i grew up Drinking Prop Blast listing to stories , laughing and singing with these Troopers. God i miss them scalawags those late night drunk Grunt to Grunt talks sitting on bunks with canteen cups of Prop blast (Me and Bill had a long chat on how he really earned his nickname Wild Bill) and it was this event in 2000 were Maj. Winters read the letter he got from Tom Hanks asking permission to do it. He then asked us what we thought and we shouted a big HELL YES!! lifting our drinks 100+ Drunken Troopers cheering, them were some epic hangovers esp while trying to out drink Wild Bill & Babe , Sadly all the Troopers from this unit have made their final Jumps so now they belong to history.

Well done! I would recommend certain shows that have large fan bases -- such as Game of Thrones, LOST, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc. And, of course, music reactions are always popular! I think that you could grow your channel well into the tens (or even hundreds) of thousands in a relatively short amount of time.

This is exactly why we love your reaction to band of Brothers because you stay genuine to yourself and just be yourself. Most people cannot do that on RUclips they become something that they are not. But you are true to yourself and your emotion. That is what makes you a good reactor. Joyeux Noel et bonne annee!!

It's funny how self conscious we can be...I never noticed any stutter, or sensed that you were nervous in front of the camera. We're own worst critics. There is no such thing as "normal" it's this collective imaginary concept we all think exists. Band of Brothers is my favorite series of all time, I never get tired of seeing people experience it for the first time. Not only is there "We Stand Alone Together," You REALLY need to see Ron Livingstons documentary during the making of the series. Believe it or not, it makes you appreciate the series even MORE. ♠

That's the secret. Do you. Who else you can you realistically be? Trying to "reinvent" yourself daily is a path that leads to madness. You'll find your own peeps and they will follow you. I have been following you watching The Pacific and you have done a good job.

Hell kid, just be yourself. Remember, the most important person that you need to please is yourself followed by those closest to you. As for the rest of us, especially your followers, we got your back. Just remember you can't please everybody all of the time. And that's ok.
    👍👍👍👍👍
PS: TRY GIVING "BACK TO THE FUTURE" A WATCH. People love this trilogy. Yes, it's a three move package but a great watch.

I think I can hear, in just a word here and there, a bit of the Welsh. There were some Welsh accents in the film *”The Englishman who Went up a Hill but Came down a Mountain”* have you seen it? It’s a romantic comedy that is very clever, well written and acted. I highly recommend it. Also, you seem like a lovely person and I’m looking forward to seeing more reactions.

No spoilers, but strap in and hold on! God bless you, young lady, and merry Christmas to you and your son.💚 PS: I know Wales is a country.

When I was watching your BoB reactions, I really did have trouble figuring out your accent. I knew I was hearing a mix of English and French, but I couldn't figure out which was most prominent. Now that you say you're Welsh, though, I can absolutely hear it. I don't encounter the Welsh accent often, but I happen to be rewatching a TV series that's set in Cardiff at the moment, so my ears are a bit more tuned to it right now.

Thank you Amy this was wonderful. I am one of those Band of Brothers fans who discovered your channel from that. I have since watched several other of your reactions and you have become one of my most favorite reactors on youtube, because of you open and honest reactions and your willingness just to be you. The Pacific is very good and I look forward to your reaction to that series as well but i do think its a good idea to wait until after the new year to watch. I will not give any spoilers but i will say this the Pacific is very good but it is a hard watch. All war is burtal, but the war in the Pacific was even more so than most and the film makers do a good job of showing that brutality and what it does to the men who had to live though it. So i do recomment you watch it, just be prepared. Again thank you for what you do and keep up the great work.

It's good to hear from you again Amy. Btw, you said Swifty when you obviously meant Shifty. He does come across as a lovely person and he also has an autobiography which really does show him as a fine human being. Unfortunately, he along with every other member of Easy has now passed away, the last being Bradford Freeman who died ( I think this is correct) in July 2022. Ed Shames (he was depicted in episode 7 by Winters as the officer who thinks he needs to shout at everyone) was the last officer to die towards the end of 2021. All the best to you Amy .

Hi Amy, enjoy your reactions and your' honest emotions... that is not being awkward, that is being real. You are a good egg as the saying goes. A good one to watch/react to as a postscript to BoB is a movie called "The Best Years of our Lives" filmed in 1946 right after the war about the experiences of three service men returning home, each with their own issues to deal with. Wonderful bittersweet film. The Pacific is also excellent, I like it as much as Band of Brothers but it is different and a little rough in a few episodes but then also well worth it.

Be careful - the war in the Pacific was very different than the war in western Europe. (The eastern front - Russia - is yet another story). In war, the Japanese brought a samurai-based attitude to the war. Simply put, death before dishonor, which meant that all too often there was no quarter asked and no quarter given. It was brutal. Young American men had to adapt to fight a foe very different, culturally, than what they expected. Those on the front lines did adapt - they often, almost necessarily, left behind their humanity, with sad, often tragic, personal consequences. It will not be easy to watch. Brutal. I strongly recommend you watch other films instead - there are plenty of good films out there, and you can be excused from watching The Pacific. Please consider skipping it, for your own mental health. Seriously.
